Dev Alahan - I am one of the few (very few
Maria Connor - a dull character but I can cope with that
Tony Stewart - brings something different to the show, not likable but intriguing.
Sean Tully - I actually don't mind him
Lloyd Mullaney - I like Lloyds scenes in the cab office with Steve
Anna Windass - a good actress IMO and 'believablish' character
...the rest of your list I agree with and they can go
Edit: Fiz!!! ... she so needs to be on the axe list, preferably near the top

The problem is that if you did all that you would not have much of a program left. What they really need to do is write better stories for those characters.
Personally I think that most of those characters do have potential given the right well written stories.
Even actors like Christian Bale, Daniel Day Lewis & Jennifer Lawrence would struggle with some of the stories in all our soap opera's.
Agreed, list's like this one are usually fueled by "I don't like this particular character, so I'll put him/her on the list. Not always the best for the show.. (thank god, those lists have no power)
I disagree with most on the lists so far, apart from Sean Tully!! (who has outstayed his welcome IMO) and Stuart Blackburke needs to go.
Agree with all the last three comments!! Too much is made of axing characters in my opinion!! If everyone axed the characters they didn't like the cast would disappear!! The problem with current Corrie for me is too many sub standard new characters cluttering the show & leaving many of the established characters without any decent material!! Without decent material even the best character becomes stale!!
That grandmother tonight was truly awful ..... I kept expecting her to say "goodness gracious me" and wobbling her head like a nodding dog.
She does act like she's a character from "goodness gracious me". I would ditch her and her ridiculous community centre, is she really meant to be funding that herself. Her husband should go too but I'd give the rest of the family another chance. Alya can act but she's prone to vacant stares.
I wouldnt axe anyone but the writers.

Leanne Battersby - I used to love her, but now I forget about her half of the time
Tyrone Dobbs - Same situation as Sophie, what has he done since Kirsty? Oh yeah, been with Fiz
Jason Grimshaw - I would have put him in the list above, but with Sarah returning he COULD improve
Julie Carp - I find her so boring
Anna Windass - Might aswell just get rid of the whole family/ families

Zeedan Nazir is a dreadful character. His lines are so boring. I think any actor would struggle with being written so badly.
EDIT I'd also get rid of Lloyd and Andrea. Terrible pair.
