I would like to know my rights and where I stand I have been using the 2500 at my gigs being a dj I have 2 units the club I work at wanted one and I have one for myself , but they are both only a few days old and they have both exactly the same problem and that is the play button on deck 2 has sunk in a bit , we are not pressing the button in that hard and after about an hours worth of use it sunk in a bit.
You can tell as the thickness of the play button in deck 1 and 2 as deck 1 is pushed out more, the thing is why has this happened on both units after only about an hours worth of use, we brought these units as brand new from Birmingham , but the software with the units was v12 and its confusing me why if v14 is out now, and has been since July 08 why v12 is with my unit , could anyone advice me on this problem please ? and what to do , the shop in question wants to send it away to denon for repair ??? but its under 7 days old, surely 2 units cant have the same problem can they ?
I have never had a problem with Denon stuff before , what are my rights with it being under 7 days old I dont want a repair , But I dont really want my money back as the shop is the best on price I have seen, but If they replace it for me might the next unit have the same problem. ???
