Just curious what is your favourate product from Greggs the bakers. Where I live there are about 8+ branches within a 10 minute walk in any direction. You cant get away from them!

I like a sausage roll.....its the cheapest pastie/pie thing there.

I like them really dull cheese rolls which is just a dry stale bap with one singular wedge of cheese 3/4 sticking out with a huge giant public looking hair inside you pay the best part of £2 for, they're smashing they are.

I just hate it when they sell them to you cold! How can you expect anyone to eat a cold pastie? The only thing I can eat cold is a Sausage roll.

Me and my friends have always wondered that after a night out. Gregg would make a fortune if they opened late at night for the drunk people coming out the pubs and clubs

There is 1 branch open in Birmingham till 3:30AM on Friday and Saturday nights (well so the website says).

Do you recon they need door staff for late opening branches, with all those drunks kicking off and shouting at the staff cos they have no 'chicken bakes' left?

Chicken Bakes! I had one every day for about 5 years during dinner time in school. Bloody lovely.

Those pizza baguette things they do. Sooo tasty. Have to walk about twenty minutes to get one though so hardly ever bother.

Depends...its all different. The one's in London are rubbish compared to the ones in Newcastle, they don't sell half the stuff and most of them are tiny!

As a student, I used to live next to Greggs HQ in Newcastle...christ those smells with a hangover....

Too right they would need door staff and I swear to god I would expect minimum of 100 quid an hour to stand in a brightly lit Greggs and serve the drunk townie cretins pilin gthrough the doors abusing everyone!

They may be in the north west only? Home of the pie!

Greggs used to be south only but are slowly but surely spreading northwards ousting the indigenous species. Like grey squirrels

Edit: North east? I stand corrected

Theres no 'Greggs The Bakers' where I live, our local bakery though, Fraynes, do the most delicious 'treats'!

Theres no Sausage Rolls or anything like it, only Buns, Cakes, Biscuits, Muffins, Coffee, Tea, Soft Drinks, Crisps, Chocolate Bars etc. Everything they sell, except Crisps & Bars, is homemade. The Birthday Cakes they make are just divine - the best b-day cakes ever!

Whenever I go there, usually once every few months, I end up getting some of their Eclairs, Cheesecake buns, Scones & a slice (or 2) of their homemade 'Death By Chocolate Cake'!

It really cheap as well, which is fabulous!

I like Steak Bakes and the Sausage Rolls, though as I'm a bit weight concious these days I haven't been in for a while

If only you could have kept 'Ant n' Dec' to yourself, the country would be a much nicer place........but thanks for giving us greggs.
