I haven't used the Big Brother web feeds for a couple of weeks now, so this may have already been discussed, but should I be getting 220kbps streams ??

The reason I stopped using the live feeds in the first place was the low quality that I was receiving with my NTL bb connection.

Is this a temporary glitch? is anybody else getting these speeds?? has everybody else always had these speeds and i'm just rattling on for no reason???

No, really - I have a 220kbps stream, and it definitely is because there is a noticeable difference: crystal clear a x1 size and still very smooth and clear at full screen size. Audio is comparable to the E4 feeds!

I am only getting these speeds on the bb1 (rtsp://nb-telecity.bigbrother.energi...er/live/bb1.rm) feed.

See the link in the above post. FYI - I have an NTL 512k connection. Mind you, I wouldn't have thought this would make a difference- wouldn't the speed of the stream be a server-side limitation??

Please, someone, prove that I'm not going insane!

Only the BB feed one is 220 k, the other 3 are 80 k. They are not being limited by the server speed unless you have a dial-up connection, in which case it will be limited to you connection speed.

Correct me if i'm wrong
