Philips MC500 micro system

I'm a bit confused by the product details for the Philips MC500 micro system. Some sites say it plays mp3s, some dont say, and some say it plays mp3s from cd and others say you have to connect it to a pc to play mp3s.

Has anyone here got it/used it. Does it play mp3s from cd???

Not quite what you asked but I know this one does play mp3 direct from CD link cos I've got one
Only single CD though no multi change, so you pays your money and makes your choice, but with a 1 cd full of MP3s thats a good few hours of music

Edit : Oh sorry I see they are out of stock /discontinued : They had 'em last week
