I have been having problems with my HDR. I've already started a few threads about a strange clicking noise which then left me with a `reboot` message and no other option.

I just wondered if anyone else bothers to do the loop through if they only have one (LN1) cable connected. If my problem is hard drive then i think I need to return the machine. But , if its the loop through (only got the cable today) it may cure it once i connect it.

So anyone else have problems with one cable and no loop through?

Works fine here with loop thought (LN1 out to LN2) try connecting a short fly lead but run set up after doing it
