iPod/iTunes Question
InsideSoap

I've currently got an iPod Nano and it's only 8GB so it's nearly full so I was thinking about getting a bigger size, probably the iPod Classic if that's what it's called and then giving the Nano to my dad. However the Nano auto syncs with my iTunes library, so if I bought the Classic, could I have that auto sync with my library and then make the Nano manual sync and then how would I remove the music from it for it to be used on another PC with iTunes?

Presumably the music on the Nano is on the PC that it syncs with so you could move it from one PC to the other without using the Nano? ie via a network, or USB stick, or burning it to a CD or DVD.

iTunes should recognise the Nano and the Classic as different iPods so you can definitely synch one automatically and the other manually.

Just check "Manually manage music and videos" on the Nano, all the content will be erased off the Nano only, and then you can use it on as many PCs as you want, just dragging and dropping your tunes in iTunes.
