Understanding that an OTA update cost money, but why not make it available online for download? That would at least keep cost to a bare minimum?
But ok, if there is no benefit what so ever, it is to an extent pointless in sending out an update. |

having recently bought a Humax how I determine what s/w it has as I do not know how long the supplier may have had it in stock?
I tried to see if it would download new s/w but was told no new s/w available |

Update
Bob_cat,
Why don't they put the updated files on a software link on the web site, this will allow those with hopefully some technical savvy to bring thier release up to the most current, and highlight any bugs found in this version. Would it not also be prudent to maybe have a beta firmware site (invite only) that when your devlopers have a version ready for mass testing could be released to beta testers. This would help to catch any of those unforseen issues that only real world testing seems to pick out. Or do you already have a such a testing program. |

Do you have dual feeds coming into the HDR?
I have also tried to set series link for working lunch but it missed wednesday`s prog which was at a later time than the rest of the week. is this how it is meant to be? - if so, it is next to useless and I may as well set manually for each day separately. I also set it for countdown and it missed the 5.25pm show and it shows the next timer is set for 4.55am which is not the same episode but a repeat of Monday`s prog. and I usually switch the box off at night and on again at midday. |

My box successfully recorded working lunch today. I would recommend you download .02 firmware from the Humax website and upgrade manually.
The update was removed from the Humax website weeks ago. |
