newbie question. does the inclusion of a usb port on the pvr mean that i could record/transfer programmes to my laptop?

To play back on your Laptop use VLC media player available from www.videolan.org

Encrypted HD
Regarding encrypted HD (assuming BBC HD is encrypted), is it possible to copy these programmes to an external hard drive just to archive them and then to copy them back to the FoxSat to watch?
