Chocolate, and anything coated with it does not belong in the fridge!

I wouldn't consider defiling them in such a way. They are the food of the gods and should be treated as such.

I think they are horrid. The 'orange flavour' gunk is particularly rank.

Does anyone else eat Jaffa Cakes by eating the sponge around the jelly bit and pick off the chocolate before eating the jelly?

Your threat reminded we have a pack at the back of the cupboardJust checked and they're a year out of date. Do you think they'll be ok? They are still sealed, btw

Phew!! Glad I'm not the only one - I have a thing about eating food that's in layers. I have to pick it apart and eat it layer by layer, e.g. custard creams, i eat the top biscuit, lick off the cream, then the final biscuit. I think I might be slightly weird!

I eat a Twix by nibbling the chocolate off the sides, then the caramel, then the biscuit.

Jaffa cakes in the fridge?

Most definitely YES!!!

I like to nibble the chocolate off a bounty bar, leaving the coconut filling to eat last.....after it's been in the fridge of course!

I also try to get the chocolate off crunchies and dime bars, with much less success.

PS - Jaffa cakes are great when they've been dunked. It's much easier to get the cake off, then the chocolate....leaving the smashing Jaffa orangey bit in the middle.

PPS - Lidl make Jaffa cake type thingies with raspberry, and cherry jelly middles. They're really nice.

That's the ONLY acceptable way to eat a Bounty bar.

I was just going to mention these! They're okay, but nowhere near as nice as the orange ones

They also do not belong in a fridge!!

Agreed. And it has to be the biscuit from a Twix, then the caramel (with a hot cup of tea to help it melt in the mouth). In fact, any chocolate bar that contains caramel then the caramel layer has to be left until last (bottom layers in Mars and Snickers go first).

With a Jaffa Cake I nibble round the jaffa orangey bit, eat the cake from underneath, then pop the jaffa orangey bit in last...

Jaffa cakes are banned in our house. Hubby thought it would be a really good idea to eat an entire box of 24 in one sitting. Was ill and had to have the day of work the next day. Needless to say he can't stand the sight of them now!!
