Junior Version?

Do you think this would work?

I really dont, TA thrives on making mugs out of people and Sir Alan crudely showing them the error of their ways in the most humiliating way possible with his brutal rationality. Few can really say they watch it for the inspiring business acument displayed having that done against a child (and I'm not saying this would happen) wouldnt stimulate that big impact it has.

Likewise with TXF the younger crap singers are never pimped as looneys.

I agree, even some contestants cry after a bollocking from Sir Alan, so i duno how children will cope!

I think it is an ok idea, but would be better to have an older teen version like 16-20 age gap, particuarly kids who have finished school and are looking for a job. Do 12 years old know or really care about business and what will they be wearing in the boardroom? little suits lol? Plus what would be the prize Sir Alan would be willing to give them, a trip to Disney world?

Around the age of the Big Brother Celebrity Hijack contestants would work, but not a full on kids version.

I think CBBC have something like that anyway, or at least used to.

I could see the value of an adapted Apprentice style show, but more in an educational/documentary form than the light entertainment RTV format

I don't know about that. SAS would be great with kids, in fact i'm certain of it. As they say, never judge a book by it's cover, this is a guy who gives ALL his guest speaker money to G.O.S. Hospital. Beneath that gruff exterior, i suspect you'll find a man who places the welfare of kids right at the top of the tree!

I'd LOVE to do it- 16-20 would be a perfect age range

There was a show like this but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. I saw it when I was on holiday in Spain (it was in english though) and they were designing things for dogs.

The Parliamentary one on the CBBC was also a bit Apprentice like. I'm not sure a Junior Apprentice would work. A few of the candidates in the real Apprentice are usually quite young anyway.
