Yellowstone HD Dog

I thought that our HD lady in the BBC told us we were rid of the intrusive Dog on quality programmes like the BBCHD Yellowstone.

I get so angry when I see a fantasticaly photographed HD offering spoilt by this junk.

I've trolled everywhere to see if it's repeated on BBC HD and can't find any info, can your crystal viewer shed any light on a repeat ?

It wasn't shown at the same time as on BBC TWO which annoyed and threw a lot of people, including myself. I did notice it on BBC HD but the programme was practically over by the time I stumbled across it. I doubt it will be repeated unfortunatly.

At the moment the computer says no, BF. I'm sure it will be on sooner rather than later again on BBC HD.

Actually i just found my recording, it's something else I deleted.

I'll email it to you, it's a mere 6.69 GB

Oh you're welcome JKCD, sorry i forgot to PM you that i had grabbed a few. (Oh Matron)

Someone came in and interrupted me in full flow, hence your lack of a PM.

Glad you found them yourself.

I see that the BBC is releasing Yellowstone on DVD. I didn't notice anything about a blu-ray HD version though - pity.

This dog thing is starting to get silly now. What's the point of transmitting something in HD to then spoil the picture, as others have already mentioned. Right now, I'm almost glad that I only have SD at present - at least my viewing on BBC2 wasn't spoilt.

Just going slightly off topic, Snoods are you finding that your recorded content is better than the live?

Looking at some of your screen grabs they're better than the live content I watched on BBC HD and I've long noticed (and posted before) that recordings on the HDR are better than live play back which makes me suspect there's something holding the HDR back slightly as a live receiver.

No, can't say i notice any difference here in DVB Viewer White Knight, the grabs are exactly the same quality as what i see when watching "Live"

Maybe the HDR is slightly different, no idea i'm afraid, as i don't have one to compare it with DVB Viewer.

You would think it would just be the same though.

Find that very hard to believe. I would say it's identical as well.

Just a wee reminder that part 2 of Yellowstone (Summer) is on tonight on BBC HD. (8.00 PM)

I know a few missed the first episode, and there's no repeats of it as yet.

I watched it on Sunday on BBC2 and it was excellent and am now really looking forward to it in HD, I can watch proggies like this time and time again and am still gutted I missed 'Winter' in HD, as your screen shots look stunning

I watched 'coast from the air' the other night the 'Outer Hebrides', no wonder my dad goes there every year, it is stunning, I'm coming up to Glasgow with him in June to see some creepy Scottish folk singer and am now tempted to tag along for the full 2 weeks and do the Outer Hebrides with him !

The Outer Hebrides is stunning BF, if you like scenery and picturesque views it's a must, unlike the creepy Scottish folk singer LOL.
