I'm pleased other people are listening to Katie Melua.
She is now rising fast up the charts as more people appreciate the unique quality in her voice and the freshness of her music.
Last week she was the fastest rising album, this week could be even better.
While pompous music snobs like Dotmusic panned her as "sounds exactly like the juvenile lead's starry-eyed-and-wistful showstopper in a third-rate West End musical," and record shops held minimal or no stock of her album and undermerchandised her single, which will hang around for a long time in the charts, Amazon now shows she has risen to become their sixth best selling album.
