Anyone know what became of him?

Does he still work for Sraln?

I thought he did as Sir Alan was talking recently and said he was doing a good job.

I could be wrong though.

I was thinking about whether Lee was still working for Sir Alan the other day.

I thought he'd struggle with the people management side of things and I wasn't sure Sugar Empire was the best place for him to learn those skills

Last I heard he had called in sick on his first day.

I thought Lee was the most disappointing winner to date.

I can't believe he won after lying during his interview and littering his CV with basic spelling mistakes!

Even though I disliked her, Claire was far more capable.

He's probably still trying to get to grips with who takes milk, sugar etc with their tea.

Surely he has a talk show on Sky Channel 1786??

As the series has go on so the quality of the candidates has gone down as they realise this is just another (posher?) reality show..

I just had a feeling when I saw last year's line-up that it was the turn of the 'working class hero' to win, regardless of how his competitors had fared.

I think this might be the year of the posh burd

I totally disagree with that Lee wasnt a worthy winner, he did extremely well in almost-every task that he was in and learnt up things quite quickly (Like speaking to an audience).

As far as Claire was? I dont think she completely escaped the first few weeks really or her performance in the Marrakesh task.

Either Claire or Lee were derved winners so Lee didnt bother me

I didn't rate him either, but still felt he had more potential than Lee.

Heres how I rank the winners so far

1) Lee
2) Tim
3) Simon
4) Michelle

We all know that when he picked Michelle over Ruth he invited disaster XD
Simon... While not as good as Kristina he was still very competent
Tim was pretty much the same level of work as Saira, just different styles of work really
Lee on the otherhand topped Claire by a fair bit and was the better choice. Like I said, Claire just couldnt overcome completely her problems in the first few weeks and the Marrakesh task. The amount of times she found herself in the boardroom probably didnt help either.

I think Michelle gets a bad rap because of the mess that followed her victory, a lot of which was due to things incidental to her business skill. Apart from the Top Shop debacle and going a bit under the radar towards the end she was pretty much neck and neck with Ruth throughout. Certainly I think she was a better winner than Simon who did nothing all series except manipulate, backstab, suck up to Tre, and beat-box.

Tim's probably the best winner for me because he seemed more intuative and eager to learn than Lee, who seemed like an extremely effective operator, but within a fairly narrow scope.

Michelle was my favourite winner. Far from being neck and neck with Ruth, whenever they are on opposite teams, Michelle won. Ruth road to the final on Michelle's coat tails. TopShop wasn't her finest hour, but if you look closely at her performance and disregard the biased editing she did pretty well, with just one mistake.

Simon was pretty bad. He was only on the winning team 5 times, and only when Tre was on his team. I don't recall him ever performing well.

Lee was on the winning team 8 times, and won twice as team leader. Those few times he lost he had a terrible leader, who usually got fired for it. He was never blamed for a loss and taken into a boardroom. On many tasks you could see him perform well.

Tim I don't recall, I'm afraid. His teams won 6 tasks and he was never blamed for a loss. In the final he was up against Saira, who was a disaster (and only won 4 times).

So for me Simon was by far the worst winner. I suspect that if Katie hadn't walked, he wouldn't even have made the final.

Michelle was the only choice of winner I agreed with.

James should have won series 1, Kristina series 3 and Lucinda series 4.

Advertising task - Ruth is stymied by Mani and Ansell's fact-finding mission. The task is unwinnable after that point and Ruth's advert was clearly a better pitch to Siralan and his tastes than Paul & Michelle's vision.

Car Lot task - A sales task where Ruth is on the same team four man team as Jo and Samuel, two of the worst salespeople in the show's history who sell nothing. On what we're shown, on a personal level she outsells Michelle.

Estate agencies - Ruth is the strongest sales-person of the six remaining, held back by Tuan, another one of the worst salespeople in the show's history, and Syed who barely scrapes one sale. She definitely outsells Michelle here.

Cruise ships - Ruth messes up badly, and Michelle gets to do nothing because Paul's political machinations have reached warp-speed. Not a great victory for either contestant but obviously Michelle takes it.

I do think both were strong contestants, they were I think the two best choices at the end of the day, and I certainly don't begrudge Michelle her win, but I don't think Ruth rode on anybody's coat-tails to get anywhere. I actually think she could have benefitted MORE from working with and relying on others, not less. As could Michelle to be honest.

I have a hot line for Siralun's Calvin Kleins - do I win?

I'm completely with you on the latter part of your post - but I haven't agreed with any of Siralan's winners - I'd have taken the Badger over Michelle. The Top Shop task put me right off her.

Ruth should have won that series hands down. She was so much better than Michelle.

I loved Lucinda - the quirky lady. She was fab, but I don't think in the end it would have been the right move for her. I liked Lee very much and I'm glad he won, although I really thought Claire would have beaten him.

I really thought Kristina would have won that Series, I found Simon to be 'normal' (not the outstanding person that Sir Alan is always going on about).

I have to say that I never watched the first series, but heard more of Saira since then though.

Hey Ho - this is why I'm not a multi millionnaire and Sir Alan is :0)

Ruth was project leader, and chose not to attend the client briefing herself. Finding out what it is you are supposed to do was crucial, and shouldn't have been delegated.

I agree Ruth was a good saleswoman. However, as I recall they lost the car task because although they sold the same number of cars, they didn't upsell the options, which was a basic mistake Ruth shouldn't have made.

Again, I agree Ruth was good at sales. She wasn't too bad at the rest, either, but overall I think Michelle deserved to win.
