Samsung camera memory card problem...

Hiya,

I bought a samsung camera today at Argos, it's a S1075 and pink. Problem is it didn't come with a memory card, i'm not very clued up on technlogy so presumed it would.

Am now having issues finding a suitable memory card for it, and am very confused- does it have to be a samsung memory card? Or will other makes (like sony or kodak) be compatible with the camera? If not, what type of samsung memory card should it be- the only on i can find is a samsung digimax one...but dont know if it is suitable.

I know it has to be an SD or an SDHC, which is stated in the instruction booklet included with the camera.

If anyone could give me a wee bit of advice i'd be very grateful

Any SD card will do. It doesn't have to be the same brand as the camera. Something like this will do

If you want to buy a memory card from a shop dont get ripped off buy spending more then £10 on a 2 gb card

Yeah, prices are a lot cheaper online than in stores. And even they are going down all the time.
