Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever get a candidate as entertaining as Katie Hopkins again.

Yes, we've had the likes of Ruth Badger, Tre Azam and Raef Bjayou who've been absolutely brilliant to watch because they're actually rather likeable despite the initial first impressions of the majority. But if you've looking for a monster, nobody will come close to Katie...

I thought Claire Young was destined to be 'the next Katie' last year, but it just didn't happen. (This is probably because she was the closest ever to being fired without actually being fired, which really scared the sh't out of her.) I suppose the fact I was looking for a replacement villian shows how much of an impact Katie Hopkins really had on The Apprentice.

All I can say is... don't go looking for a replacement because you'll end up disappointed. Jenny Celerier was probably the closest thing we had to 'the next Katie' last year and she paled in comparison.

Just accept each candidate for who they are. That's my advice.

I agree.

What made the likes of Katie, Lucinda, Tre and Raef so fascinating was because they were one of a kind.

I'm hoping we will get a contestant that will become a character in their own right again this series.

For me, Kristina was by far the worst monster. Her selling to children amounted to extortion. She colluded with Adam in bringing up Katie's personal life in the boardroom when Katie wasn't there to defend herself, and then concealed that she'd done so. Because that was secret, she was able to collude with Katie on the next task to bring down Adam. And then she turned on Katie again. She was happy to stab her allies in the back.

Katie behaved quite honourably (at least in the series), and if she didn't like someone, eg, Adam, she was open about it. She had a colourful turn of phrase, and her attacks were often insightful and therefore painful, but she behaved with integrity. Unlike, say, Simon, who set up Andy and Adam as fall-guys in ep1, or Adam, who claims he saw Paul making mistakes but kept quiet because he didn't care if his own team lost as long as someone else got the blame. Or, as I say, Kristina.

Kristina really was vile. And was still vile on The Weakest Link.

I wasn't a huge fan of Katie but I don't think I'd mind having a chat with her, I would run a mile from Kristina.
