I think with the early release business he might be out in about July, but nevertheless the BBC have people queuing up to take part in this show, so they wouldn't need to scrape the bottom of the barrel and use someone with criminal convictions who would still be on licence!

It makes you wonder where these rumours originate doesn't it

tbf Jane, I remember that one and now we find out that JS is about to be in a new TV show, 'Argumentative' I think it is called..It is entirely possible that the production guy is working on both shows and misunderstood at the time. Safer and nicer to give the benefit of the doubt imo


Didn't Arlene Philips work with Boy George and choroegraph at least one of his videos? I seem to remember sometime, round about series 3, Boy George saying he would love to be invited onto SCD and 'tongue in cheek' say but only if he could dance with Matthew Cutler (who was new to the series that year?). This time of year there is much speculation about which celebrities will be in the next series, happens every year, and that is how rumours start. Give it a few more months and this board will be rife with many more

You're right, Milagrosa - I have heard of that show with JS in but I've never seen it. It's not really my kind of thing, tbh. That's what I hate about the national tabloid press, they print all this chinese whisper stuff and people take it for gospel. AJ even started a thread on DOI about JS appearing in DOI! I think there's more chance of me being immortal than that happening.

Ah but Jane, without the chinese whispers, the national tabloid press and some posters these boards would be completely empty, or very boring . Even in 'real life' we discuss rumours and speculate about all sorts of possibilites, so why should the boards be any different. It is my 'raison d'etre' for being on DS, naughty but nice
