There are a lot of unsung coaches that contribute to DOI - T&D choreograph, Karen and Mark help on cam but there's a lot of auxiliary coaching that goes on behind the scenes, as it were, there's only 2 little rinks at Elstree they'd never be able to put in enough hours otherwise. The male pros help the guys with the lifts, Karen's husband trains with the northern celebs, the pros themselves do a lot of work with their celebs and then there's a whole raft of other pros and coaches who help in between times.

And i didnt say she was married to Andrei the pro.

imo Ray and Maria developed a close professional relationship - which in order to succeed on a show like DOI is essential.

He may not be an Oscar winning actor - but an actor he is so he should be able to portray love and emotion when the routine calls for it.

Even though t&d are happily married to other partners, and both have young families, the romantics still believe they are the victims of unfulfilled love and I recall rumours about Andrei and Clare, even though Andrei is married with a little boy.

I think people like to picture these couples skating hand in hand down the ice tunnel into a winter wonderland - there to live happily ever after.

Cue soft music, gently falling snowflakes and lovers kiss. Fair brings a tear to the eye.

If I had skated with a pro and then tehy went on and skated with someone else I would feel like that too. It's different for the pro skaters

Ray's Latin dance training taught him his partnering skills and the ability to act and portray emotion towards his partner. All 5 latin dances have to show totally different personalities, and Ray was (is) an excellent Latin dancer.

Repeating the rumour that you repeated is unacceptable, I agree. There are four people involved, one of whom you profess to like. Spreading rumours is cheap and nasty in my opinion.

as initially said i put it up as a discussion on the AT but it has now spread onto the main forum which i didnt want,so with all due respect i didnt come on here "spreading rumours" i brought up a topic for discussion which was supposed to have stayed on the AT.
And the poster taking the moral high ground and talking about reporting me isnt even to my knowledge a Ray fan unlike myself.

Whether he/she is a fan of Ray's or not is irrelevant.
It's not a case of taking the moral high ground. It's disliking the idea of spreading rumours.

I know MANY MANY Ray fans and their not all so high handed and sensitive...in fact it was only a minority on the AT.most of them are lovely.

I have to agree with this Minxy - it's not a topic for discussion it's a rumour with the potential do do damage to several people; long, successful partnerships are bound to bring people close to each other, it's a working friendship IMO, nothing more
