I'm so excited for this!
Sir Alan didn't give much away on The One Show earlier but he said they were "one of, if not the best bunch we've had"
He says that every year, but I hope he's right.

Doctor Who's they're flagship show, but The Apprentice is definitely their flagship reality show.

As much as I am looking forward to this, it will be interesting to see if there is an episode this series that can beat Marrakech from last year

Who can forget this from last year as well?

Helene: I see myself as a really good project manager...so what are all our strengths?
Lucinda: I can't do anything technical, IT based etc
Helene: Right. So Lucinda, you will be with Raef doing the technical stuff
As much as I loved that episode last series, the episode that I loved the most was for advert for the tissues one!!!

I cried with laughter during episode even though Raef was fired. Last series and the first series were my all time favourites.

My fave least fave series was the one where Michelle won over Ruth.

Can't wait for tonight!!!

Oh, I'm so pleased that TA is back, it'll be good to see Nick and Margaret on a weekly basis once again

The good thing about TA is that these "shrewd businesspeople" can be seen metamorphosising into clowns in any situation, be it sales (shark/hamster, cheese to the French), advertising (bloke getting pleasured in the aeroplane, I Love My Tissues), pitching (cat calendars, environment cards) or - my personal favourite- negotiation (KOSHER CHICKEN )

We are all practically fizzing with anticipation at Mazzy Towers - is it only here that the time seems to be dragging?

Thanks for the reminders on here about the last series. It was a classic. Some really hilarious moments.

I hope this one is as good, if not better.

I have missed Margaret the most. She can be so scathing and kill with a look Mary Poppins she ain't
Margaret is a star! It is worth watching the whole hour just for one of her asides or withering looks!

My favourite was when someone (I can't remember who, maybe Michael??) picked up a fish and said 'Look at the breasts on that, they're massive'

I am looking forward to it. I applied this year, and got as far as a screen test (i think I failed to get through as I had to take my glasses off for the screen test, I am terribly short-sighted..so was squinting and not making any eye contact).
I don't recognise anyone from my round of auditions, it was a very strange process - the notion that it is based on any sort of buisness accumen is thrown out in the first audition.

Anyhow - i can sit at home and pontificate on how much better I would have done, I will be applying again next year (in contact lenses this time)

Their flagship show

And you've both overlooked QI, which has to be a national treasure by now.

Thanks for the reminder - just made me lol.

That's also reminded me of slippery Alex trying to shift them blame onto Raef who got some of the labelling wrong. Raef said something along the lines of
"It's not like I labelled 'shark' as 'hamster'!"

Can you imagine Margaret's expression if anyone ever had the temerity to call her "Marge" to her face?

Well although I don't think this forum is the place for pedants I do find QI arguably the best show on BBC.

Stephen Fry is a national treasure - though I don't expect everyone to agree with me.

If the looks didn't kill, her handbag rammed down their throat in a ninga style move would.

And all whilst keeping the same fixed smile.
