At least none of them usually claims to be on a 'journey' as they do in all the other reality shows.

My pet hate is "I'm going to give it 110%"

Why not 107% or 112.5% ?

And if that means your very best, then it's 100%

Otherwise if your best = 110%, then giving 100% is less
than full commitment,
it's like .... oh, I can't do the maths.... 97, 86?”

No totally...you cannot give more than 100% - its impossible..yes I will do my absolute best..err then I will do some more...

Even worse matematically is the "I give everything 110%"

I had this debate in an otherwide rather dull and tedious training seminar we had where the trainer insisted we "give every task 110% effort", so if I had five tasks to do today I have to magically get hold of 550% effort to do them? how? No, if I have 5 tasks they will probably get about 20% each adding to 100% total, but the idiot didn't seem to know that the word percent had any other use outside of the phrase "110%".

Give them time and someone will be bound to say it, then we can rise up against them.

It also presupposes that you'll not spend any effort whatsoever doing such mundane tasks as; sitting upright, responding to questions, answering the phone, ordering lunch, etc

"Project Manager" annoys me.

Project Management is a highly complex profession and managers are very qualified and experienced. There is a massive range of tools, processes and techniques.

Muppets washing cars and making sandwiches is not "Project Management" any more than putting a plaster on someone makes you a Doctor!

Instead of 'at the end of the day...', they could dress it up like I do to 'the fact of the matter is...'.

I don't know if we've heard it yet, but it definitely sounds more professional.

She's gone already, sadly, but I loved the way Anita told us she could "make impactful statements".

Now could someone tell me wtf that actually means?

110% is a phrase only ever used by the numerically illiterate.

I wish those that stepped up to the plate would trip over the damn thing.

I wish the elephant in the room would push the envelope and then, going forward, he'd hit the ground running to smash through the blue sky thinking into his journey.....blah,blah...

You get the picture. Shaddddupppppp!

By a sodding dictionary.

Well, at the end of the day it all boils down to some blue sky thinking, where they should revisit the tasks and ask whether they gave 110% 24/7. The bottom line is no one should have been left out of the loop, as I felt Phillip was when he was given a ballpark figure of £65 to pitch at, although I don't encourage the blame culture within the team
