The music over the credits...

...they've damn well butchered it. It makes the ending feel all limp now. Damn TV execs.

I miss the epic music from the start too

I don't like the new one, its really dull. The old one was much much better.

The usual music at the start will appear next week. They always use this other piece for the first episode.

Oh good

I only started watching about 3 or 4 weeks into the last series so I wasn't too sure

I don't like the revised music. I bought the CD soundtrack and now they've changed it!

It was used over the comic relief one too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_JbSoI9bIY <- wasn't used over the first episode of series 3 either. You sure Grating? Looks like it's been replaced completely..?

The high pitched noise (music) at the beginning of the program, really did my head in

It was certainly used last year.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_cT3rY8K1M <- nope, just the normal theme but slightly less dramatic. The one used tonight phasers and is played on a violin, only used before on comic relief apprentice back two weeks ago. Doesn't Sir Alan himself criticise the apprentice US for changing things un-necessarily? It's 10 seconds shorter too. Perhaps like with the doctor who series 4 theme, they were told to cut it down a bit?

I'm sorry but we've got our wires crossed. The piece of music I referring to as being different on the first episode was the music at the start, not the end. That was in response to SamW25.

Ooh either way, I hate the new closing theme. Crap and badly edited.

Unnecessary. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

The 'dum dum' right after the person is fired sounds ghastly now as well, and the end credits with this added instrumentation - yuck!

They used it on the CR special as well and it sounded horrid. Don't know why they feel the need to jazz things up when it was perfectly fine as it was. My only criticism of the first episode.

Yeah. Oh well, hopefully they will realise and replace it next year.
