I'm actually a little bit in love with him!
Seriously, I think he's no-nonsense and could win!

I know it's not etiquette to criticise on an appreciation thread - but my estimation of Phil might rise if he stopped dissing others and concentrated on his own performance.

There's a distinct difference between dissing someone for the hell of it (like a certain pink braced prat) and trying to urge people into making decisions due to sheer frustration!
I wasn't really a fan of Phil at the start, but over the past two weeks I have completely changed my mind about him. I think he's a cracking bloke and I'm right behind him - hope Kate doesn't mind!

Def agree with you simon69c (soz still haven't worked out how to quote from previous posts
)You could tell he was getting wound up by the lack of decision making and was probably very aware that time was being wasted |

Just adding my appreciation..... I SO would....
![]() ![]() I think he comes across as a really genuine guy and I couldn't blame him for getting frustrated with the lack of decision-making on Wednesday. I just love his voice - I've always loved that accent. One of my exes had it - we're still friends and to this day I'll drag out our phone conversations as long as possible! |

I would never gatecrash an app thread. how rude. |

Philip to win. I'm here for the duration, and I have been since day one. He's brilliant.
Haven't read all of the thread, but he isn't a geordie.

Love him.
Hope he stays in ages, I don't really know if I want him to win yet. |

I love Phil
and thought after the hatred he is getting out there i would come and express that!At times he did throw tatrums but he was put with all of the useless canadites and i would have lost it too.His jingle was so funny.I think even if a bit raw at the moment phil could be a fantastic apprentice and he has a heart of gold even if some people cant see it!

Even I had to admit he was a bit of a d*ck last night!
![]() I still fancy the pants off him though *swoon*. I agree with the above poster though - I don't think he's a bad person, at all. I think he just gets mega carried away and, as I commented to my OH last night, he's a total control freak (though often not in a good way). If he could just calm it down a bit and reign in his 'enthusiasm', he'd be a great apprentice. For what it's worth, I think Sr'Alan quite likes him. I still SO would......*sigh*
