During the intro which of the guys was it who said something like "I'm got going to male any friends on the way up cos I don't intend to come back down"??

I'm surprised you could understand his accent sufficiently to interpret that quote - it was Philip Taylor

I don't think he was being sexist either - I think he wasn't intending to make any friends not just male friends

The accent was no problem, one of my best friends from uni was from up that way. As for male that was a typo and was meant to say make

Think it's something they say to make them look big, which it doesn't, or the edit was cut so much that what he said makes him a twit.

Also reckon Sir Alan has been watching too much BB, as he's sounding more like the HMs. Just my observation of his upped style.
