Old fart needs help!!
Looking at a phone for my son, he only wants to text and I have seen this deal, wonder if anyone thought it was any good.
Its Vodafone 600 off-peak with 250 Text. You get 600 mins per month off-peak to other vodafone or uk landlines. 250 texts to any network per month. You can get almost any handset for free including 7250i Delivery and connection is also free. Cost is £15.99 per month, for twelve months, I reckon the texts must be worth that alone. My wife or I could use his off peak mins. A pay & go handset like 7250i would cost about £200. I will pay £200 for the year, have the handset and all the text etc for free. The big catch is peak calls 35p per min, but he usually only sends messages. Calls to other network mobiles 40p at all times. Any thoughts on this deal? |

I'm on O2 PAYG...so long as you top up £10 per month minimum you get 300 text mesages per month free and 300 WAP minutes per month free.

if i hadn't just got a new phone i would get this! if txts are 12p, that would make it 0.12 times 250 equals £30.. not forgettin the free phone and minutes. it seems very good IMO.
