Is Amanda Holden really in trouble?

I see Amanda Holden feels she is at risk. Do you think her job is in trouble?

Or is she just trying to promote the show?

She ought to be given the boot as she's awful. If she wasn't on the show i'd probably watch it.

What is she even doing on there? She would'nt know talent if it smacked her in the face!

I used to like Amanda but it's so blatantly obvious she is trying hard to be the "nice" judge. The little huff and "I want ALL the family there" when she was judging Good Evans really opened my eyes as to what she's like. She knew fine well that Dad wasn't the best singer and that Elliot would be best on his own, and yet she does the "right" thing and puts the happy family through to look good.

She should go pretty soon. I don't see what she adds to the show...

She's only there so she can drool over guys taking their shirts off. To be honest I don't know why she's even on the panel. What's she actually done to warrant judging talent?

I think it works well with the three of them. They all have their own roles, most of it's acted, but it's all a bit of fun, I think she fits in nicely there.

Amanda doesn't have her own mind when judging, but goes with what she thinks is the safe option, in other words, she just goes with what she thinks will keep her liked by the audience. Simon on the other hand, he's not bothered what the audience thinks. Peirs is a bit more independant than Amanda, but he's still afraid more afraid of judging acts on what he thinks, and goes sometimes for the safe option.

While we're on the subject, what makes Piers Morgan suitable be a judge of talent?

Amanda's on the show because Simon likes a hottie sat next to him.

I'd agree with that. I don't think either of them should be there.

She's awful, is nowhere near as talented as most of the acts and from stories on here, seems to be a bit of a bully. She'd be nowhere if she hadn't cheated on her husband and had it splashed over the papers.

When you get right down to it, though, we've only actually heard of her because she was Mrs Les Dennis. Wonder if she'd have made anything of herself in showbiz if she hadn't married into it? How much telly work had she had before she met him, I wonder.

She was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in the West End production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.

I saw it and she was very good.

The casting and nomination were clearly all for publicity. The Youtube clips show she cannot sing and is a poor actress.

Ask the person on the street what she is famous for and they are guaranteed to say: Les Dennis, Neil Morrisey, BGT and Blind Date in that order.

I really want to like her, I just can't.

It would've been much better had they axed Amanda and kept Kelly imo.

I feel bad for Kelly, she was just a pawn in a big media story in order to boost viewing figures.

Nice bit of showbiz gossip for your kids:

(I first saw this on Holy Moly or Popbitch or somewhere)

One of the cast members on 'The Grimleys' with Amanda Holden told us about the time they were away filming and Amanda Holden came down for dinner in the hotel. She sat down, looked startled and revealed Les had "done her up the bum and it'd just come out on her white dress".
Les, presumably, was Les Dennis, her husband at the time, before their marriage collapsed. Sounds like it wasn't the only thing close to collapsing at the time...

Won't dispute that - but I saw the show and she was good.
