Is the Sony KDL40X4500 TV available in the UK?

/\/\/\/\ is this tv available in the uk, i can't find a uk website that sells the 40inch.

or does anyone know when it will become available?

Well it's not listed on the Sony UK website yet, only the KDL46X4500 is.

Ok, but it also says on the Sony website "available to buy from October 2008", so does anyone know a retailer selling them

Can't help you on importing one, but Sony TV's are pan-european, one model works everywhere (you tell it country and language when you install it).
