In that series, I only watched it for Philip Schofield
there is something I am not too taken with in Kyran, but not exactly sure what. He certainly doesn't have the IT factor in my eyes
I probably enjoyed Kyran's performances more - not quite sure why.
On skating ability it's hard to say as I dont' know what jumps Ray can do other than the split jump. Kyran can now do all the single jumps up to Loop. Im sure Ray could learn them but right now probably doesnt have them.
Ray is a better spinner though and overall has better edges and control.

Still I found Kyran's performances more engaging.”
But at the same time Kyran is now a pro skater and has been since he left DOI so of course he can do all them jumps
Ray to do that jump in such a little space of time is good i'm sure if he had the same time gap as kyran he also would be doing all them jumps
I love Kyran and RAY and if i had to pick one it would be ray as in such a smalll space of time ray was outsanding,is it true that Kyran is from rays neck of the woods thats what i was told but i dont think he is is he???

Well yes if you are judging them as they were in DOI then Ray is a better skater but if you are judging them as they are now then it's harder to call. I liked Ray but I did enjoy Kyran's performances particularly more than Ray's perhaps because Ray was so good from the start it became a little blase whereas Kyran's performances developed and that was more interesting to me.
I enjoy watching both Kyran and Ray, but I think Ray has more of an edge on Kyran, think back to Kyran at the end of DOI series two and he was no where near as strong as Ray is now. Maybe that is down to Ray's dance training who knows? But I think both of they're performance styles are very different.
As I've said in preivous thread about the tour, I think that this year the competition is going to be between Chris Fountain and Ray. As Chris won the majority of the shows last year and he's going to want to keep up to that standard again.
It's going to be really interesting watching them compete against each other this year, I can't wait.
Plus, I don't think we should rule Jessica out, although she camr third, she's going to want to have something to prove, after all, she was gutted not to perform Bolero on the show, and Pavel seemed determined that they would perform it on the tour.

From what i've taken from past years lot very much so maybe more so than they was on the show Jayne said both kyran and Chris have been down size yup Ray as he is their compertion
But this years lot dont really know whats to come yet so are seeing as fun and a last chance to skate with their partners

No, Kyran's not a professional skater - he just thinks he is! He's done a lot of skating since DOI (and yes, he did perform for a few weeks with Holiday on Ice) but he's not in the same class as the pro skaters, who have been skating all their lives - he's not even in the same class as Ray!
There's no question that Ray is far better than Kyran. As for whether people prefer Ray or Kyran, well, that's a matter of personal taste.

yeah i can see its going to be that Chris has already said the battle is on but Ray has not really said much just he cant wait to skate with Maria
I hope this Chris vs Ray thing does not take over the tour
