The reason i say Kyran is a pro skater because that is what he now calls himself and it is also his career now

And has not stopped doing ice shows etc since he won DOI

I didn't mean it was going to take over the tour I meant that they would top with the judges and the audience, like Suzanne and Chris were last year. Usually, on the tour they have the top 2 contestants of that series, but it won't be the case this year as Donal is only performing at Wembley I think, so IMO it'll be Ray VS either Jessica or Chris, with possibly a few turns from Kyran and Suzanne.

Kyran's done all the DOI tours, a brief stint with Holiday on Ice, he did his Ice Party thing round about Christmas time and that's it. The fact that he thinks he's equivalent to pros who have been skating all their lives always astounds me. He's very good but he's just not a skater of the calibre of the pros and I wish he'd realise it. Ray is far, far better than Kyran.

If chris only does the weekends i know he ended up doing more last year

And Zoe will no doubt be top in the Irish tour dates

And we forget about Todd he could just come top on a few nights he stayed in for 4 weeks and is on the tour for a reason

if he has worked for it and still does work on ice i guess he can call himself what he wants

He has never said he is better than anyone who has been doing it for years just now his profession and career is an Ice skater

Robin said Ray could count himself as a professional - which is amazing in so short a time

TBH who knows? IMO Suzanne was seriously overated last year, I agree with you on Ray and Jess though, but like you said, Chris was only meant to do the weekend shows last year, but he ended up doing the majority of the dates in the end. So it's anyone's guess as to what'll happen on the night. Tbh though, I doubt if we'll see Todd performing the bolero on tour in the top two as it proved that the viewers were tired of him by week 4. Although I am not saying that I don't like him, he always makes me smile when he's on the ice, just not in the same way that Ray, Jess or Chris do.

I think its going to be a good tour.
As much as i like Todd i did cringe at him trying to pull off that stunt last week it went from being really funny too oooh no please you look abit like an idiot now.

And i agree about Suzanne sometimes i feel sorry for lads like Ray and Chris who are really good on the ice but a female comes out gets lifted and makes the routine look so much more wow and Suzanne said on GMTV she is working on new lifts for the tour

'Professional' doesn't mean good, it just means that someone is doing something as their profession (and getting paid for it).

That's what I loved about Ray this year, he didn't do many big lifts and his routines were still WOW, as much as I love Chris Fountain he did do quite a lot of lifts last year, although his skating was also immense, however, like you said, Suzanne was a big fan of the lifts especially the 'headbanger' whereas in comparison I much prefer watching technical skating.

As a fun single's skater (with a female partner - if that makes sense) or a strong pairs skater (if not compared with the professionals) Kyran is a joy but as an ice dancer he isn't on the same page as Ray, imo.

I love that the top three males are so different, it will make the tour really interesting - I just hope they all get along and have fun.

My vote goes to Ray - have just looked some of Kyran's performances up on You Tube to remind me and while he is very at home on the ice I think he has got there through having some talent and lots of hard work whereas it just seems to come SO easily to Ray.

That said I bet he'll beat Ray on some routines, will be interesting to hear.

I found him extremely entertaining and more fun to watch. Really loved Kyran and Mel skating to 'Billie Jean'. A really memorable performance

Kyran is more powerful. Ray skates better and should dance better. Kyran could do better lifts if he had them in his routine as he has the power. Ray has novelty and topicality on his side. It comes down to routines. Ray never I think had a really good routine that hung together. Kyran has had them.

In terms of votes Chris's youth and sex vote will be split with Ray so Kyran may not be out of it. Similarly Suzanne is light years ahead of the other girls and ought to be competitive with a good exciting routine because no other girl can do one.

It could be competitive with some good routines all around but it may just turn into a vote for the most recent boy contest.
