Well I thought I would make one seeing as Emmerdale has one. A place to discuss all things Corrie.

Hi Arcane2, Faye was enquiring after you yesterday in the episode thread

Will you be having slap and hug votes too, if so I can see AC getting a lot of slaps

Well I'm glad on someone's mind.

Yep of course, my votes are for

Hug - Simon for having such a crummy dad

Slap - Ken for being too self absorbed (Would have been Peter but his assessment of Michelle was spot on).

ditto....i'm nerver that bothered if i miss corrie, yet I'd make sure i never miss eastenders! I'm even disappointed with the fire last night and yet that was the most exciting (and i use the term loosely) sl they've had this year. Definitely needs some fresh blood in the writers dept!!

OK, you will have to administer the slaps and hugs as you're the OP so make sure you have pen and paper handy to keep track of what everyone votes for

Oh, and you have to decide on what day you'll be doing said slapping and hugging and set a deadline for last votes

No pressure or nuffink, you can do it

very true, the fire were a bit suspect as well looked like those floating tea light candle things dotted all over the floor.

Dumping some of these crap storylines currently running would help too.

Sounds like you have it all under control Arcane2

One final thing, do we only vote for the characters that have been in that weeks episodes or any old character that's ever annoyed us in the history of Coronation Street

Only in the week's episodes otherwise I'd be slapping Violet's sister for years.

I'd feel Violet's sister would take the slap like a man.

Ooh slaps and hugs. I must get back into the Emmerdale one too, did it for about two weeks then completely forgot about it

Slap for Natasha for being such a poor deluded cow. Hope that knocks some sense into her

Hug for Leanne the bunny. Peter, tut tut tut

No need to apologise Arcane. Let's just pretend I never read it.

I agree though. I mean Sean fathered a baby with Violet. You'd think he would want to know what's going on with Vi and Jamie.

No dont remind him or it means we'll have more of his gurning and wailing taking up airtime. Corries bad enough as it is dont invite more misery.
