Extreme incompetance of production company ...
... in not having a 'standin' in case one of the candidates:
1) Pulled out 2) Became ill 3) Had an accident Over these series we've heard many stories about how they fake things and stitch the teams up (i.e favour one team over another) and yet the could not anticipate something like this. Siralan should fire them |

lol. And yes, most reality shows would have a way around this. I remember, in BB9, someone else quit at the last minute, but they got her a replacement (who turned out to be a horrible girl, but whatever). It was such short notice that she didn't have time to pack her suitcase, or buy a nice outfit for entering the house, but they had a replacement.
Hopefully they'll learn from this. I'm sure there's other people who would've wanted to be on the show. |

I think its just a highlight of all these producers..
Look at the cock ups BB producers are doing they get sucked in thinking they are perfect and it soons lands them in deep trouble. I agree totally insane not to have stand ins.. |

I read that they did have stand-ins but the chap left the programme only several hours before the start and they wasn't time to bring in a sub.
Has anyone counted how many candidates cross the bridge in the opening credits? He might be there... |

Apparently he quit at 2am, with filming due to start early (6am?) the next morning, so there wasn't time to get one of the standbys.
It's not a big deal. In s3 Ifti quit during the second task, and they didn't replace him, either. Whether it's just before the first task, just after, or a bit later, doesn't make much difference, really. The show goes on. We've still got plenty of spares. |
