ipod classic new battery

after 2 and a half years my ipod is telling me i need anew battery does anyone know if there is someone in the inverness area who could do this ?.

Try and do it yourself, very easy and cheap to do

New battery on ebay about £5.00

Go to you tube and there are plenty of videos there to show how to do it !

its easy, just need a phillips screwdriver, a decent youtube video and a bowel for the sesame seed size screws! i replaced my display the other day.. just tru and use the pry tools not a screwdriver

I echo the advice to do it yourself , Someone on this forum said the same thing to me , I was sceptical but ham fisted me did it in 15 minutes . The battery was 99p from Ebay

Even easier! Pop into your local Maplin on the high street.

I was in a small one in London the other week having a mooch and saw they do DIY replacement battery kits for all iPods for around £15-£20. Battery, fitting guide and tool, etc.
