Disagree bout James, he made no effort on the street sell. "Make sure you all mention the olympics" Rocky asked, and what did he say "Want a sandwhich?" I believe. Not even sticking out his hand to offer it.”

Are you sure he is Arab? I'm sure he is either Indian or 'Stani.

I think you're being a little harsh on James.

Although I don't think we've seen the best of him yet, I don't think his minor mistakes should be held against him.

I also think his peers are being a little too negative towards him.

I'll join the ignorant club then 'cos I always thought/assumed Choudhury was an Indian name.

I think Rocky deserved to go. His team lost money (never a good thing in Sir Alan's eyes) on a task that he had the most experience for. If he can't even scrape a penny profit together as project manager, how would he have done with the stuff he was out of his depth for? As Sralan would say, he had to go.

As for James, I really like him. He has the cheeky chappy appeal, and he seems like a grafter. Other than putting his foot in it on numerous occassions, I fail to see anything he particularly did wrong.

Howard needs to go ASAP as well. Jumped up little squirt.

Hmm. Noorul is an arabic name is not though and he looks more Arabic to me. I don't know perhaps he is Indian, I wasn't saying that anyone was being ignorant just that I thought he was Arabian.

Sorry...I did't mean you were saying anyone was ignorant just that I had made an assumption (ignorantly) as the only people of that name I have come across were sub-continent cricketers and so I had presumed that was where it came from. More critisising myself than you.

I think it's a bit difficult to suggest that the team leader of a team that lost money on his watch shouldn't have gone. tbh.

Seemed like a decent enough guy though.

He should have gone

Anita on the other hand was unfairly fired. Debra should have gone last week

I think Rocky did a bad job as team leader. The one that should of gone though is Philip. He is so negative about everything. His negotiating skills are zero.

To start at £65 then go straight down to £35 without a discussion then £17.50 then £15. I thought at one stage he would have agreed to pay them to have the food.

As usual 2 or 3 in each tam ave not done anything at all.

i do agree Philip is a sly one, he is an Alex mark 2 - the kind of guy who contributes very little of any note, yet constantly sticks the knife in to everyone else to camera.

I mean, he was pretty useless himself, wasn't he?

BUT not only did Rocky do a bad job as Pm, he compounded that by picking the wrong people to go in the boardroom, so therefore has only himself to blame.

Yes I made the same comparison elsewhere! Two peas in a pod.

I liked Rocky, seemed a decent bloke. I also think having his football career ended by anthritis has made him determined and that he is a quick learner and can be a success in what he does.

But his performance as project manager was awful. This is supposed to be his area of expertise but he picked an awful idea, did not research the prices properly and sent his team into negotiate and made them look amateur, went with a tacky idea and ended up making a loss. The whole thing was a complete disaster and he deserved to go as a culmination of those decisions. Phillip said several times that the whole project was 'shit' and he was spot on.

I'm in two minds about it. I don't think he really should have gone, he did show promise and I like the fact that he has pioneered on his own at such a young age, however, if you're going to place the blame anywhere, its on him.

Just based on personality, though, I would kick out Philip.

I think Sir Alan was right to fire Rocky. Yes, he was very nice on You're Fired (as was Anita last week) but he was pretty much responsible for everything that went wrong, and on a project that should have been right up his alley.

I liked the bloke, I think he was too young to win but he lost because of decent ideas that didn't go down properly and because he was scared to bring in his "friend" Phillip

I like Rocky, and in a way I'm glad he has gone, from what I know of the other applicants he seems like the most entrepreneurial. 15 sandwich shops by the ages of 21 is pretty cool.

I've always wondered if Sir Alan would hire his younger self? I kind of get the feeling that he wouldn't as he might see that a job like that would be stifling.

Howard was right when he said that Rocky picked the wrong people to go into the boardroom with him.

He might have stood a chance if he's taken Noorul and Philip in with him - asit was he took two who whilst moaning had done reasonable jobs.... Noorul has done nothing and Philip has done nothing but stick the hatchet in to all the other boys

From what I've heard Rocky's dad is the one with the sandwich shops.

Whilst I do quite like Phillip (it's shallow, I'm a sucker for the accent ) I was shocked at his negotiating, or should I say, complete lack of negotiating.

I do the same job as him and it's basic stuff, you find out what they're willing to offer as a starting point, what your client wants, and then work to narrow the gap - why he didn't do that, I've no idea

Even though James seems a bit of a gobby tosser, Rocky did show his age when he was sorting out the task.

He seems like a nice enough guy, but he is now saying his theme would have worked if 'it wasn't in the south'.

Bit of a cop out really, the whole point is he pitches to the market he's trying to win, if he was catering for a working mens club would he have made nice little nibbles and given them a glass of bubbly? No, of course not.

Now he's blaming the fact he just didn't get the market he was aiming for on everything but himself

Like I say, nice enough guy, but immature at the moment.

Not really, he was arguing that he didn't know the south very well and he didn't know what would go down in London. I think he didn't realise how uptight the people he was catering for were, if that had been up north they would have loved it. Someone should have warned him (although I supose they did tell him that dressing up wasn't a good idea)

They lost essentially because the themed food wasn't suitable for the event, they didn't cost the task properly (whereas the girls went a bit too far) (I felt so sorry for Phil negotiating from 65 quid a head down to 15, excruciating to watch and he must have been highly embarrassed), the Greek theme was RUBBISH and again not suitable for a corporate event, and these are all things that utlimately Rocky was in charge of as pm.

I didn't want him to go but he made the big mistake at not taking hints from Nick/Margaret as to who to take into the board room, a management mistake in itself I guess! One of the under the radar contestants might have been a better choice to go, but they weren't his choice.

I dont like James but i didn't see him doing anything which would warrant him being fired. Out of the 3 Rocky was the right one to go, but i think Howard was right. Rocky picked the wrong two to go to the boardroom.

If he had picked two others the outcome may have been different.
