two faced contestants

Wy is it they abuse all of the 3 people that have to go to the board room with sir alan

yet, when they get back, they all act delighted and everything is wodnerful. theyre all of a sudden their best friends.

If i was on the show, i would have said dont shake my hand, dont hug me.

I do not care about you shaking my hand or hugging me. Especially when i know ppl are being two faced.

Also, i thought Howard was quite brave to be honest when he got back and told the other contestants 'other people should have been in that board room'

And did you notice the affection between Debra and Mona this week!?

I can't switch my emotions on and off like that. I'd have been holding a grudge!

Totally agree - they should all be holding grudges and hating eachother more - all this kissy nonsense is just not right!!!

(Not being sarky by the way - I agree completely with the op)

But they have to work together again. I have had to shake the hand of someone, who shafted me at work - I made the grip feel somewhat grudging and remained seated. You do not always have to be blatant to make your point.

In the professional world you have to work with people you don't get on with and sometimes people you out and out despise. If you have to potentially live with that person for 12 weeks too then it's not two faced to put your differences aside, its just being professional.

I don't get why 'telling it like it is' (or more simply put 'being rude') is so applauded in this country.

That said, I thought Howard said his peice quite well and seemingly refused to be drawn into making it a bigger scene - although who knows what happened later that evening.

I certainly remember something quite different happening to one contestant last year.

IMO holding a grudge serves absolutely no purpose and it usually ends up clouding people's judgement and getting in the way of business. We've seen people bury themselves in the boardroom when they take sides or pick on someone only because they like or dislike them. No I wouldn't be fake and pretend everything is kisses and marshmallow but you can be civil and put your differences aside therefore concentrating on the task at hand and not getting caught up in high school pettiness.

Oh Sid, I'm with you. I only wish I was the sort of person who could let grudges go atall, let alone in the blink of an eye like them. They'd have been having to sleep with one eye open every night, I tell you!

Ok

But i guess it is how quick it is - like one minute they are insulting them, then literally as soon as they walk in the house the people they have just insulted they pretend to be great friends with

Maybe if they were
1) not so insulting in the 1st place - and tried to be as policitcal as they could with their points (rather than being harsh etc...)
or 2) dont be so over the top with the happiness - maybe a 'well done' and a hand shake

instead of a "scream" 'oh my god your back your so wonderful and great and i lvoe you oh my god im so pleased you survived even though just a minute ago i was telling everyone how terrible you are'

If that makes sense. But i do agree with people that say at work you have to get along with people you wouldnt normally be friends with.

I also quite liked how Howard said in the Boardroom how he thinks Rocky shoudl go. it could have been all too easy for him to say James should go (so then it would have been 2 votes on 1 for James, making him look better) - and also he could have said James in 'revenge' for James nominating him to go.

But, instead, he didnt let personal things interfere and he gaev his business opinion. I guarantee that didnt go un-noticed by alan sugar

Are you sure it was the same people? I thought it was mostly girls that were doing the hugging, and boys who were criticising.

Anyway, when someone has survived an ordeal it's OK to congratulate them. You can like someone as a friend even if you don't respect their business skills, and you can be glad when they are happy even if you aren't their friend.
