2003 The Year Of Retro Music?
Everything Goes
06-12-2003
Will 2003 be rememberd as the year of retro music? There has been a lot of bands artists who have looked back on older music for inspiration. Let me give you some examples.

The Coral - 1960's (Must buy their album)

Goldfrapp - 1970's (Just awful!)

The Darkenss - 1970's (Can you take them seriously?)

Holly Vallance - 1980's (I like her album actually)

Kylie Minogue - 1980's (Well she started out in the 80's and I like Slow)

Well Brit pop in the 1990s was heavily based on older stuff, so its nothing new

Definately more 80s electro, along the lines of depeche mode, if you ask me (train and strict machine definately, although the album varies). Just brilliant!

Shes got problems if the first single is anything to go by, it had a pretty good sound, but the song was weak, especially the end of the chorus. Hope for her, that there's better on the album

Much better than any of her 80's stuff though
