.... Since the sun has come out there have been LOADS around and I'm afraid my cat has been capturing them and bringing the inside (alive, thankgod, even a dragonfly at one time) so I have to keep re-capturing them and letting them go its so cute though (all be it abit annoying) cos I've seen him do it he is ever so gentle ...I'm surprised he hasn't got stung yet though by a bee

Any bugs that crawl along the floor though he runs away from ever since his experiance when he was a kitten when a spider jumped on his knows and made him go cross eyed

How is your cat reacting to this weather and all the bugs around?

Hi there.

I have noticed that me cat is having great fun in the garden batting and capturing bees and flies. I am concerned with the bees though in case she gets stung. They do have fun though!!

Both my boys love trying to catch bees, spiders etc. Although they have caught and eaten spiders I don't think they have caught a bee.

(one of them caught a mouse last week and left if half dead in the kitchen)

The flies, bees, wasps, anything like that drive the dog mad, he is on edge and loves the chase! He will chew the flies up and spit them back out but isn't to impressed once he gets a bumble bee in his mouth I'm not suprised either

Oh dear poor ickle Mickey!

My cat has only ever bought one big "present" in that was when he first started going out, he caught a massive wood pigeon (it was a regular visitor in our garden, poor thing ) it was nearly as big as our cat lol he learnt his lesson after that and besides the odd butterfly etc he hasn't brought anything else back from his wanderings ....yet

My dog squashes ants. He'll try and play with it for ages, then get fed up and squash it under his paw.

Lol haha

I hate ants when it comes to summer can't have the backdoor open without them crawling in and going everywhere. I've tried getting rid of 'em but they just come back and the bring their buddies to

My dog sees spiders and ants as a supplement to his meagre (in his mind) diet

I've come to the conclusion that no matter how much I feed my dog, he'll always want more.

My cat is blind, but can still catch spiders - and he can catch flies mid-air!
