Why? Does it make anything better if she allows the whole sorry story to be published? If the whole sorry tale is true (and it sounds like the essence of it is, but for the details we've only heard Susan's side), then she is the second biggest victim here, after the poor baby. But does that excuse taking advantage of V&K's fame in order to get back at them publicly over a private problem? If it was me I would prefer to keep a dignified silence.

I never said it made anything better by giving the story to the papers however after being humiliated by the article last week that V had dumped her for K I expect she just felt like speaking out and I just did not like the word Victim.

Funny how all the ones who gave Flavia such grief (when she didn't even cheat) are now trying to defend Vincent.

And finally, she doesn't have a job that requires her to have any public persona. It doesn't matter to her life if she stays quiet. She's not a celebrity, she doesn't require any public perception, and even so the perception is that she is the victim. The only reason she did that interview was to be vindictive and get back at him and especially Kristina publically, and that is why I have no sympathy for her either. The high ground was hers to take, and she chose not to take it.

No for the record i am not a close friend or family of Susan,and if i was i would say so even though i dont see why that matters. Why the accusations again,just because i know a lot about the situation....i have lurked here for years and am a fan of the show and you seem to know just as much as i do are you Vincents friend or family member.

I know nothing, not even which shows Susan attended like you do, and I watched all of Strictly this year.

When I said I would stay quiet, I didn't mean it was because I would be understanding, it's because to go public would leave me feeling and looking quite petty. As someone else said, she didn't need to go public because the sympathy was largely on her side anyway from the existing coverage.

I'm not sure I ever commented on the V&F situation, but I had the same feeling about Vincent going public.

Precisely. It's not in my character to think that making my problems public will help. The more people know about my problems, the worse I tend to feel. Like making myself a public idiot rather than private one (not calling Susan an idiot). In this case, given that the public already felt sorry for her, the only reason she had for going public was to get back at him - which is not a character trait I particularly support.

I feel very uncomfortable about some of the things that have been said on here, in particular knowing that she has probably read some of them. Yes that article does paint her in a pretty bad light, but we have no idea what is true and what isn't. And whatever happened there are probably things on her side which we have no idea about, but to date she has kept a dignified silence rather than aggravating the situation.

I would never condone what was described in the Mail article, but it isn't up to me to approve or disapprove of someone's behaviour when I've never even met them, or when all I know about the situation comes from someone who is quite naturally going to have a very one-sided view of it.

So in spite of the story I hope everything can be resolved privately, and Vincent and Kristina can still return to SCD7 to do what they do best.

I'll be so angry if Vincent and Kristina aren't invited back to SCD because of this. I don't know exactly who or what I'd be angry at, but it'd be a tragedy.

I hope if Kristina is reading this she knows that most people are open minded enough not to just believe every word that Susan says. I hope she keeps her silence. If she does, honestly, I'd be more inclined to feel for her than Susan. From what her friends/the solictor said, she seems to have been quite caught off guard by this too. It's possible that neither woman consciously did anything wrong initially.

Who knows what actually happened.. I just wish it wasn't public.
