I agree with that. I was too lazy to cut out the actual interview though

My god he is laughing and asking the journo out on a date.... ok he may be joking but how arrogant it beggars belief.

I agree, and I'm not a huge fan of Vincent, or even of his dancing come to that. But he is undeniably talented when it comes to Strictly. But I do agree with what he says that 'I'm known for the joy I give to people in my work, so people don't need to think about my private life.'

I'm not impressed with his extra-curricular activities at all. The people article is bad, but can't work out if its his quotes that are bad or the spin the people have put on it.

Anyway like you've said, it doesn't affect his dancing, which is what attracted me to him in the first place.

Sorry not too well up on these things-scanned but too small print to read. He,s holding his hands up but is saying no-one got hurt and is making light of it. You need to read it in full and of course everyone will have their own opinion.

It really was. I'll put my hand up and say I'm not his biggest fan (this incident aside), but I don't think he got heard fairly here.

Nice one Katie, that helps.

*points above* It's the spin on it. When the writer prefaces anything he says by "arrogant" "callous" "boasted" and so on, it makes it sound worse.

That said, "I don't like to blame myself" is just idiotic. Who else does he think he should blame? Was he forced into it? Did he have no choice on pain of death or something?

How can it be joking and arrogant at the same time?!

I'd be willing to bet the journalist was pretty friendly with him to get the story in the first place. The reason it sounds inappropriate is because it's tacked on to the end of a story about how arrogant/boasting/smirking he is... but if she had been giving off vibes that she was taking him that way I doubt it would have happened.

By the way, can I just point something out?

"Nothing - are you asking me out?"

That's not asking someone on a date. Even jokingly, that's not asking someone on a date.

Given that he told Susan everything, repeatedly, what part of that is lying?

He's not a liar, he came clean with Susan.

He said he's going to be there for her and the baby. Isn't that all that matters?

He lied all the way through the tour, also cheated and has no remorse whatsoever........im sure some fans will forgive him,but i wonder if the BBC and the general public will be so forgiving. He is so tacky and needs to go from the show.

Come on - the People is Vincent's paper he has done his articles in there before so is obviously happy and trusts that paper.

He has got it right there his fans will forgive him anything but whether the public will is another matter.

He won't go. 1) He came second last year. 2) He's an Argentine Tango specialist. 3) He won nearly all the tour dates. 4) It's free publicity.

I don't know how much clearer I can make this for you. I've said what he's done is wrong, but I've also said his private life and his dancing life are seperate. Therefore I still like his dancing as that hasn't been changed by his affair. I've heard a few other vincent fans saying the same thing...in fact I don't think I've heard anyone say what he's done is ok...so where is the forgiveness there??

Vincent said: Of course, it wasn't the best thing I could have done and there's nothing about it I can be proud of. But I was honest with Susan, held my hands up to it and apologised.

how do you know that he lied through the tour??

In which case, the paper obviously betrayed his trust. How can you deny that the article is biased? It's a fact.

Well he did tell her only after he did it meaning he lied whilst he was doing the cheating.
