One of several articles over the past few months apparently initiated by Susan. Hardly the People or the Mirror I'll grant you but then she wasn't newsworthy independently of the man she was dating at the time. The truth is none of them can resist talking about their personal lives in the press.

I think possibly the most shocking thing in all this mess is that V and S in a fairly new and on V's side obviously not totally committed relationship 'were not using contraception'

Whos business is it if they were or were not using contraception! They discussed children. Anyway this can not be blamed on just V or just S - a joint thing. Makes me laugh the way woman always get the blame for 'falling' pregnant. I read somewhere V wanted to 'try' after the tour anyway. Picked up on someones point about V and S living across water from each other. He can hardly be the great dad he says he is going to be when he cant drive to see his child! Plus if he is on Strictly and the tour how can he pop away for a weekend to see the baby. Poor Susan, I think she is going to end up alone and will have to bring the baby up on her own. Disgraceful how any man can put their career and lifestyle before his own flesh and blood.

Yea he probably should quit his job and move to be near Susan and the baby and have no income to support them/money to pay rent...

This isn't so much a comment about V/S as it is about my general hypothetical situation.

If I got pregnant, I wouldn't give a crap about "flesh and blood". I'm not ready to stop having me time. I'd want my career much more than I'd want my life to be over with a kid. It'd be straight to an abortion clinic for me.

Sometimes (and again I'm not talking about V/S here because I don't know the specifics) I feel sorry for men. If a woman doesn't want her kid, it's not up to the man... she'll just go and get rid of it. If a man doesn't want the kid, he can't make the woman go and get rid of it.

I agree coolman it is a joint thing to make a baby........susan and vincent both never used contraception.....if Vincent had not been ready for a baby because of his career he could have made sure he used something,rubbish for people to claim anyone can be tricked into having a baby.

I agree and also with Susan who will have to raise it either knowing that her partner could (and quite possibly will) stray again or on her own. I hope she has a supportive family. I also wonder if Kristina was strung along as well.

There is no argument that what V & K did was wrong, and in all honesty, both of them have gone right down in my estimations and I won't be voting for them this year, regardless of their dancing.

I do feel sympathy for Susan and her situation. BUT, my main concerns are for the baby.

Anyway, (and I'm probably going to get a whole load of flack for this, but I don't care) I think Vincent's coming off relatively lightly in all this-well on here anyway- and I know for a fact, that if it had been one of two other individuals in the male pro ranks, there would be MUCH more name-calling and abuse being thrown about than there has been about Vincent.
