This is what happens, I'm afraid, when people are boosted up to "star" status as the SCD pros have been by the BBC. They should take a leaf out of the DOI book, and keep the pros to a lower profile, so they can lead their private life in private.

I'm NOT saying that it's true, because I'm learning on the side of not believing it.

However, no matter which way you string it, someone who has sex with a man who already has a girlfriend does not have "a heart of gold". And I say this as someone whose favourite dancers are both the potential guilty parties here! I would always put the weight of the blame on the person doing the cheating (e.g. Vincent in this hypothetical case) but it's ridiculous to imply that someone who will cheat or be a party to cheating has a heart of gold.

Morally I agree with you and coming away from V and K themselves, but in a situation similar to this story I have witnessed this it isn't a casual decision on the female party to hurt, it as you know, it is not always black and white.
I know women who are heartrendingly in love with another man (thought no kids) and are kind and will do anything for anyone except they and the lovers are doing this one big morally wrong thing, as there is a kiddie involved. Sadly I cannot speak for a man and would like to assume they wouldn't be casual xx

Well to be fair some of them do manage to have a private life and we really know nothing about them as they do not do interviews etc. However some of the dancers do go to the papers and magerzines with their stories. At the end of the day its their choice.

I suppose if you go to the papers/magazines you leave yourself open to the bad publicity as well as the good especially if you accidentially tick them off.

Before I start on my opinion of this situation, I have to say that I adore both Vincent and Kristina and will continue to do so (we are all only human after all and all make mistakes throughout our life, ones that damage our lives and other that in the end work out being "good mistakes").

When Vincent found a new love in Susan, I have to say I was happy for him, until I heard on the grapevine that Susan has dated various other pros off the show, I know some people will jump at me for that but, in my opinion if you are an air-hostess for a private airline you must meet all sorts of people, so why not date one of them, why go for Strictly male pros in such an obvious way by hanging round a bar until one of them takes an interest in you (Brendan and Anton, then Vincent), she must have a thing for dancers! I don't think for one minute she is a gold digger as she has probably had interest from far more famous men than the Strictly boys on her travels and she has a good job so why would she need to. If they are happy together then I am happy for them but....

when I heard that Vincent was going to have a baby with this woman after an 11 year relationship with Flavia ending (them also having no children) and after only a year of dating, I thought it was a bit quick, that is of course only an opinion and I apologise if I cause anyone else offence who has had children quickly into a relationship, it just not really very responsible in my mind with it being a new relationship and the possibility of it breaking up. Nevertheless I was happy for Vincent, if he was happy.

It appears now tho that Vincent and Kristina have had an encounter and in my opinion only, again that makes me think even more that rather than Vincent and Kristina being the villans maybe it may have something more to do with Susan, we don't know much about her apart from that she always hung around the BBC bar apparently looking to cop off with one or other of the pros.

Maybe Vincent and Kristina have been naughty, but I find it very very hard to believe that Vincent, considering how we have seen him throughout three Strictly series, being a huge flirt but never ever crossing the line, Flavia herself said that he is like "a dog that barks but never bites", that he would cheat on the alledged mother of his child without some sort of "reason".

I also think that with knowing that Vincent had just come out of a very serious long term relationship with a woman whom he adored and still has to see on a daily basis (even if they do get along), Susan should have been a bit more cautious as his emotions are probably still a bit raw and he may be a little bit on the bounce.

I have a gut feeling after seeing Susan's rant at Kristina on facebook, that something has gone on between V&K, I just hope that regardless of the outcome, they can work it out between the three of them with as little stress to Susan and Baby Simone as possible. I wish all three of them the best through this (four if you count the baby). I can understand it from all sides of the argument and have no real opinion who any of them should end up with, but I think like us all, all three of them have been a bit silly and irresponsible if all this is true, but then again who isn't at some time in their life.

I would say that one of them should make some sort of comment on the story soon tho before it spirals out of control and gets damaging to them. Nip the rummors in the bud or confirm parts or deny parts of the story they so wish.

Sorry if I have ofended anyone on the thread but it is a discussion thread and I have tried to discuss. The Vincent Simone thread seems to be ready to jump down peoples throat at the slightest opinion, certain members don't collectively agree with. I am too scared to post on there now, and I haven't really had any strong opinions to write!

cheekychacha, there is no need to be scared about posting friendly comments on Vincent's appreciation thread!! I have only joined in the last few months, and I have received a great welcome there.

The problem over the last couple of days was that a couple of people joined the boards and immediately started posting offensive remarks there, which is against board rules on an appreciation thread, and which people are naturally going to get upset about. Incidentally, some of these posts have now been removed.

I think yes if it is true, I think Kristina should have known better as my views on Vincent are not really repeatable and I believe that it will end in tears, I do feel sorry for Vincents ex fiancee as that must have hit her so hard I am just hoping against hope that it is not true

Whenever i hear of "these" sort of stories i always think that there are only two people who really know the truth ..........it dosen't matter what anyone else says no one know's except those two people (in this case V&K),but for someone to go on facebook and post what they are said to have posted brings "it" into the public domain and even the most rational of people have to wonder what prompted someone to do that ??...........if it is all untrue (what was put in the Newspaper) i think Vincent/Kristina have to sue (as Kate did) as many people will look upon it as a pretty unsavoury situation.

If any of it is true then it's up to the 3 people involved to sort it out as any of us would (and hopefully not in the public domain).

SCD pro's are human (obviously ) and are subject to the exact same "life challenges" we all are,unless anyone knows any of them very well personally and not just from meeting them at demo's or lessons no one can say they really know them or know what decisions's they make personally or how they choose to lead their personal life.

The SCD pro's have a very fine line to tread with the public/the media,they need a certain level of publicity/support to become popular on the show but courting publicity will in turn open up both themselves and their personal life to scrutiny,some pro's are much more "open" than others with their fans/the media............. maybe you can get to know too much about them and "like" them more or less as a consequence ??.

No one is perfect though (i'm not )and for any of us to think any of the pro's are is just unrealistic.

Actually I don't mnd and quite like the fact that the SCD pros are well known personalities - they do a lot more work than the judges and presenters and deserve high profiles as a result

As for V deserving this because he went public about Mavia then - and this is coming from a Mavian- I don't agree with that because as Jane Austin said 'angry people are not always wise' and I don't blame him for that. He wanted to vent and although it's not nice to want to get back at two people who hurt you - and possibly shame one of them into changing their mind - it's understandable.

What the truth is who knows.

I do not think anyone is saying V deserves this because he went public with Mavia because as you say that could have been understood by a lot of people. However he has been since and done articles of - I am a 10 in bed and then - My new love (re susan) and then last week the baby one. I think people just feel if you court publicity and the papers it can work both ways and that is not meant as a criticism but a fact.

If I was in charge of SCD, I would politely warn all of the Pros (who do deserve to be paid more, of course... preferably by cutting other salaries and/or forcing Tess Daly to bark like a seal on the middle of the dancefloor whilst the audience throw fish at here in order to earn her insane six figure salary) that if they allow their personal lives to become more newsworthy than whatever happens on the show, then they might not be asked to return the following year.

Angus Deayton got fired from Have I Got News For You when he became the news instead of someone who merely commented on news that concerned other people (and the guest presenter solution rejuvenated the show for many people, including me; I don't miss him at all). I think the Pros should bear that in mind (and as much as I like Vincent & Kristina as dancers, SCD can do fine without them).

Assuming that the story is true of course (for the sake argument), but I'm just making a general point about the need for all of the professionals to be mindful with regards to their conduct and realise that what they choose to do in their personal/private lives might have consequences.

Its not really comparable to Matthew on Team Cutler since I have never ever said I do not like Vincent, I would marry him given half the chance, I merely gave my opinion on recent news about Vincent, which some people on the Vincent thread just want to ignore or tell other people to get off the thread for talking about. Don't get me wrong its fine if you want to ignore certain things, just some people who do appreciate Vincent would like to discuss it and that doesn't take away from the fact that they adore him, maybe those people should start their own thread

No No! i'm not saying you don't like Vincent, i ment for the others that you mention have been jumped on. It's hardly suprising they got jumped on as they came on making clear they didn't like him. I've never said anyones opinions on this thread regarding Vincent are wrong because this isn't Vincents appreciation thread. I'm sorry my post wasn't ment to get at you, I was just trying to make a point about why people got jumped on. Thats why I said in my post I'm not saying that you are saying anything bad!

Ok hun, sorry about the confusion, I admit there have been a few naughty people on the Vincent thread who don't like him very much and have probably loved slinging mud about this situation. x

Before I head off to bed I have to say I do not think there was a lot said about Vincent that was bad on the V thread. Pharres-Paul posts were all having a go at Susan saying much the same things you have said about her!!
The other poster just brought up things generally about the situation.
However thinking about since the V thread was probably not the right place for it.

V did say last week in the paper how he and Susan had talked about starting a family so why not be happy for them.

I never said I wasn't happy for them, its just my opinion, they maybe should have waited a bit longer to have a baby, he himself said that he didn't think it would have happened so soon even though they had talked about it.

Yes I agree that Vincent and Flavia may not have wanted to have a baby whilst they were competative dancers and they may have had to make some sacrifices with their dancing. Susan also won't be able to work on planes now for months whilst she is pregnant and may not find it suitable to go back to her jet set life as an air hostess now she has a little one. Maybe that suits her. Karen Hardy has a child and I sure there are plenty of other lady dance competetors who have children, it doesn't mean they can't dance to a high ability does it?

I am fully prepared to "eat my words", I hope I do, and I hope the three of them sort it out and there is a happy ending for everyone, but given the facebook rant and gossip, I am just discussing my opinion on it if its all true.
