Ok, but I think you are missing what I meant. Of course every woman has maternity leave after a baby so this will stop Susan's jet-set lifestyle for a while, but this will not affect Vincent. Whereas if Flavia got pregnant it is two salaries cut - Vincent can not dance during the year without her as they are business partners. None of our business but the question has to be asked why they were not engaged or married after 11 years never mind had a baby. I hear of lots of people who are in relationships for years and years, they break up, then the next thing within 6 months they are engaged to someone else - do you know what I mean! Also I do not understand why people are having a go at Susan when no one knows anything about her. The alledged story is not that 'she' has left Vincent for someone else so surely she is the victim here especially as she is pregnant. Very dis-tasteful to talk about who she may or may not have dated when she was a single girl and to make out she hung around the BBC bar is a horrible thing to say! Until V/K/S speaks out we can not paint a bad picture of anyone's character. Also as far as I know, I have never read any interviews from Susan about her relationship with Vincent, she seemed to stay in the backround. Any interviews were done by Vincent and he only had good to say about his 'new love'.

I've hesitated about commenting on this story and I'm still pretty hesitant now tbh
Anyway, to me the whole thing is like trying to figure out a large novel using one or two lines from a paragraph. To attempt to figure out who, if anyone, has the moral high ground in a situation I really know next to nothing about is beyond my skill I'm afraid... All I am sure of is that the only further reference to the subject I'd like to see in print would be that Vincent and Susan have made arrangements to secure their unborn child's future, whatever their relationship may be... ![]() The 'adults' ego's and desires can wait

Its now (almost) 3 days since the Sunday Mirror broke this "story" - and not one other news/sleb mag, etc. has added anything.
Another Mirror total-bo..ocks-invention, methinks. Time will tell. JJ |

It amazes me how people, who have no knowledge of the facts (including myself) can suddenly claim the moral high ground, especially when it is their forum posts that have helped stimulate the story. I find it odd that someone is concerned about their childs access to what they deem unsuitable information on the internet via social networking sites etc and uses that argument as a moral soap box – perhaps you should prevent your child going on them!
I’m sorry but, being somewhat long in the tooth myself and having been around the block more than I care to admit, I have very little sympathy for someone in the mist of what could be a rebound relationship who chooses (and it is a choice) to get pregnant. Someone approaching their forties cannot claim naivety, she would have known exactly what she was doing and the chances of it working out, from personal experience, it rarely does. If this is all baloney then I wish them all the best and hope it works out, they will need it! I think the wording on V&F’s webpage speaks volumes, F is “amused”..... you’re normally thrilled and delighted, not “amused”. If, and it’s a big if (bearing in mind it is all based on some alleged FB entry which could have been written by absolutely anyone with a grudge, from either side of the pond) V and K are now an item I wish them all the very best and much love and happiness. They make a great couple and could potentially have a great life together – so bite me! Life is too short to worry about the bitching of people who really have no right to get involved (I include myself in that), if they have found each other when timing is not perfect, so what. Go for it! Whilst I’m on my soap box, why is K getting the heat for this alleged situation – it takes two to tango – no pun intended..... She had no control over what someone may or may not have put on her FB site, which may or may not have any basis in truth! Give the girl a break, at least her taste in blokes has improved greatly! Now if I was being very, very cynical (who, me, never!) , with my PR/Marketing hat on I would say this is a brilliant piece of media manipulation; Strictly is being “sexed” up and suddenly two dancers whose contracts will not have been finalised yet are suddenly an alleged item, in somewhat “spicey” circumstances, getting more publicity for themselves and the show ...... well, well my Strictly fans, wouldn’t that be a hoot, you’ve all got fired up for diddly squat! April 1st has gone hasn’t it....... Surely the media would not fall for such a blatant yarn....... Now I’m off to buy my hat for V and K’s wedding...... they must have set a date by now surely? I’ll wait for the facts to appear on a forum post somewhere..... always a great source of truth and knowledge..... As long as all this guarantees that V and K are back in the next series of Strictly I’m happy (and Brian, who has the best eyes on the planet and makes this old girl very happy)! Now I need a coffee and chocolate biscuit so, until my next epic..... or the venomous responses, whichever comes first (bring it on)..... I bid you farewell x PS for someone in the mist of a "scandal" V looked mighty calm at the awards........ |

For the record, I agree with you on pretty much everything you've said here and have no venemous response to retort back with. You've formulated my own thoughts on the 'reports' rather well, in fact ![]() Whatever the truth behind this story is, I'm not bothered either way (not that it would matter if I was). It doesn't make me like Kristina or Vincent any less (along with Flavia and a certain Mr Fortuna, they're my favourite pro's on the show and I will be thrilled if/when their contracts are renewed). It's their dancing I'm interested in and as long as they deliver the goods with that, I'm happy. Their personal lives are just that - their personal lives. |

Well it does amaze me that noone seems to have shown any sympathy for Susan or her welfare in all of this. After all it does take two to make a baby, and they are both involved in this.I cannot beleive some people are saying they have no sympathy for a pregnant woman who "MAY" be devastated....just as long as VandK are back to dance next year.

I think the news will hit the glossies next week to be honest - it seems as though the press are about 6 weeks behind this story. Whether its true I not I can't say - as I wasn't in the room with the people involved - but rumours were circulating soon after the end of the Tour.
I have sympathy for a pregnant woman and I'm sure most members of the general public would consider that no matter what the circumstances are, and not being aware of any other facts, that cheating on someone carrying your child is morally wrong. This could be very damaging to Vincent's and/or Kristina's reputation and I'm sure we will be treated to another 'exclusive' next week from him either (a) defending his decision or (b) denying everything. I personally think that if anything happened and I have my own views on that he and Susan have discussed it and have decided to try and make the relationship work. After all he would look a complete numpty after what he said in his first baby exclusive last week. I have a feeling that the press could have been sniffing about and he had to get his story out first. Of course, the Mirror could have waited until he made his announcement because lets face it a split story about Vincent and Susan on their own isn't as dramatic as dumping a pregnant girlfriend. Much as I admire Vincent as a dancer he really does need to rethink his pr/media strategy. He played the injured party card very well - in fact almost too well - and perhaps its backfired on him now. Its fact that the facebook message was posted - I saw it so we can speculate on the reasons why/if Susan posted it but that comment does give credence to the rumour. I'm afraid to say I wouldn't be surprised if it was true but would hope that all three concerned can sort out a reasonable resolution - just not in the press please Vincent!!! |

I have actually looked at New and Now so I know what I saw as for Heat magerzine I did not see that as it was in a sealed pack of cellophane for this week.
New is part of the Daily Express group, and Now is part of IPC, neither owned/connected directly to the Mirror. All interesting stuff JJ |

I agree with you in thinking that this is probably true for Susan to react the way she did and I think we will get another exclusive probably denying it all. As you say lets hope it can be sorted for all three of them. |

Talk about a love/hate triangle! It's a real "Mills & Boon".....
V, on the rebound from F, meets K on the rebound from her previous relationship, and love-hearts start forming. It's just unfortunate Susan got caught in the middle, and even more unfortunate for the baby she is carrying. |

Oh, don't worry - I am by no means denying what you saw, and the printed mag and web versions ALWAYS seem to be different. It is almost as if all the press are determined NOT to run with the story!
New is part of the Daily Express group, and Now is part of IPC, neither owned/connected directly to the Mirror. All interesting stuff JJ |

Shall we try and guess which paper will take the exclusive - if there is one? Hmmmmm..... he seems to like the People! |

Having just viewed the interview and speech Vincent gave at the DS Awards last night he is still very much playing the Italian Stallion card
![]() You would think in light of the article at the weekend he would have tried to play down the whole ladies man image he so sees himself as being

I had a look at some of the glossies this afternoon and Now mag had a snippet in their "Love Bites" section mentioning Vincent's impending fatherhood ... but there was no mention of them splitting up or of the alleged goings on with Kristina.
