Smashed LCD TV
Does anyone know where you can purchase a LCD screen for a Samsung Series6 40" TV, model:LE40A656A1FXXU, daughter put a Wii controller through it
![]() hope some 1 can help it cost us £1100 from John Lewis they have said a screen will cost anything from £300 upwards |

Sorry to be the harbinger of doom, but the display panel plus the cost of labour to have it fitted will probably cost nearly as much as the TV's worth. As it was "an accident", it may be covered by your home insurance though.

I hate insurance companies
the insurance company are not going to cover us this is why i was looking at buying new screen

The pannel is the main bit so your gonna end up paying more or less the same for new tv.

![]() ![]() I priced a Sony 40 inch panel the other day, it was something like £540 + vat just for the panel - and Sony are one of the cheapest, I've ordered 32 inch Sony panels at times below £150. |
