Does anyone else have them?

I bought a boxed set last night of the first three series.

I watched the Series 1 disc this afternoon. One surprise was the two Bolero routines are shown simultaneously on a split screen Interesting, as you can compare how different they are.

It also showed Bonnie doing the dress rehearsal for the Bolero. Unfortunately she didn't get to do it on TV.

Hia,

I don't have the series. I've wondered how many of the actual routines do you see of everyone. I guess you don't get all of them?

I have all the DOI dvds!

They always show the third place bolero on them and they have the split screen bolero!

The tour dvds are good as well.

You don't get many - you get a lot of the "journeys" and usually one routine from whoever had the "journey".

No, I there isn't room to show every performance. It's mostly 'the best of' and 'the most memorable' - plus a few where things didn't go according to plan (botched lifts, or falling over etc).

There's lots of behind the scenes clips, and rehearsals. I enjoyed it anyway and hope they do a Series 4 DVD

And I'll be getting this years tour DVD

I bought 2007/2008 tours this morning (boxed set)

I've watched Tour 2007 this afternoon. They must have had fewer pro's that year as Maria partnered Jake Wall (Australia) and Ducan James. Also Matt partnered Lisa Scott Lee and Bonnie Langford

For anyone interested in buying the Series Boxset (Series 1-3), I ordered these this morning online from HMV for £4.99 with free delivery, seemed like a bargain to me

I have both the tour DVDs and the DVD for series 1.

To be honest I found the Series 1 DVD a bit disapointing, I was hoping for more performances than they had put in. I had recorded the final and realised quickly there-after that I should have recorded the entire series. (slap self around the head HARD.). I recorded every other series from then on though so didn't see the point of getting any of the other DVDs.

I also noticed in the series 1 DVD that they changed some of the music. In perticular the music in the Vegas Night skate-off between John and Stefan. Johns music is the same but the performance with Stefan and Kristina has a different piece of music. It was originaly performed to Luck be a Lady, but in the DVD is something different. I quite like the new music that they used but have had no luck in working out what the song is. This has been driving me mad for years! I'm assuming that this change has remained on the Series 1 disc in the box set.

I do, however think that they made quite a good job with the tour DVDs.

Does anyone know which venue is used for the filming of the tour dvds?

Is it just one venue used to film it, or do they film each place and use the best one?

Its just i'm hoping when it comes out it will have Jess and Pavel's Bolero on but i know they have only performed it at a few venues.

They did record at Sheffield in the first weekend this year, I'm not sure if that's the one they'll use though.

Last year they recorded at Birmingham so we got Suzanne and Chris doing the Bolero (Suzanne won). I thought last years tour dvd was really good.
