BBC News - Click - won't record
Two weeks ago I decided to record the program Click from BBC News. I believe it is broadcasted quite late (after midnight).
Unfortunately the FOXSAT-HDR has so far failed on both attempts, with no reference in the recorded history (no partial recording or so). Would there be any reason why the FOXSAT-HDR can't/won't record this program? The program does shop up on the schedule for the upcoming broadcast, again. |

Alternatively you could possibly watch when transmitted at 11:30 sat morning or 15:30 sat afternoon |

I've also had problems in the past Series linking this but, as GaseousClay and alan.w suggest, have been able to notice and set up a different time to catch it.
I've found recording it at 4.30 in the morning (not sure which day) now seems to work regularly (well has done almost without exception since February). Other than that I'd second setting up a weekly timer, which is the solution I've used for a couple of other programmes which don't seem to repsond well to linking. |

0430 the best "click" to record because ...
they seem to produce two versions .. short and long.
during the ady they often go for the "short" version to allow coverage of breaking news. There's not often breaking news at 0430 ... and if there is the people overnight seem happy to wait for 23 minutes !! Or you can watch it on iPlayer. Its about time they filmed it in HD .. it would make sense to show a show about hi tech on a Hight tech channel |
