I am currently watching Series 3 of the Apprentice for the first time and I'm loving it I am up to Episode 10, having watched episodes 1-9 over the past few days.

Tre is soo arrogant but provides the show with a bit of entertainment. I also think Katie is really funny and comes out with some good comments

Favourite episodes so far have been the one where they were selling British food over in France - Paul's team was a disaster! and when they made their trainer ad campaign - 'Jam' really did suck and I found it so funny in the boardroom when Katie was telling SAS to feel like "Jay" - their consumer haha - I love it!

Currently, I've agreed with all of the sackings up 'til now so I'm looking forward to watching the remaining episodes to see who wins and who he fires next and if there are any controversial firings..

Now you can understand what we were all raving about Dave

Have you access to the other series as well?

Yeah, I will be watching Series 4 straight after Series 3.

Ahhh, series 4, you're in for a treat

The French trip was brilliant, but the next overseas trip in series 4 even out does that - I'll say no more

Series 3 was the best IMO , perfect mix of drama + actual business.

Overall, I think Series 2 was my favourite - and the only time the person I wanted to win did so.

Katie actually spoilt series 3 for me. I found her totally smug and a patronising bore. Besides her it was a great series.

As for series 4, Lucinda saved that one for me.

Lucinda was a gem

I found Katie to be the most compelling candidate to watch during series 3.

Agreed! Series 4 had next to no accumen, even in the finalists, though that may be down to editing. This series looks no better...

And I always wonder how long Adam would've survived if he didn't lose his PM tasks BOTH by about 50p...

Might I ask where you're watching it, Dave?

Well I've finished watching. I thought SAS's final decision was the wrong one. Simon had a great personality and was really adorable but I wanted Kristina to win. I thought she would have made a perfect Apprentice as she had it all and was experienced. I think Simon had the potential to develop outside the programme instead, especially as he had a good degree from a very good university.

A brilliant series though. My favourite episode has to be where they went on TV to sell their products and they lost the channel money LOL

Series 3 was the first one i saw, although i did get to watch 1 and 2 on youtube later. Series 3 is probably my favourite but i wanted Natalie to last a bit longer, i really liked her!!

Kristina definitely should have won. One of the many wrong decisions by Sir Alan.

Tre was hilarious to watch, an utter arse, no way he should have got anywhere near winning but brilliant to laugh at - not with. As un pc as you can get. Some of his one liners were priceless. One of the best series I reckon.

Glad you're enjoying it Davey Wavey - now you know why the rest of us are so hooked.

You an Apprentice fan now Davey? Now you know why I was raving on about it in your other thread.

As Sir Alan says: "Dragon's Den? I don't know why they bother" .

I can safely say I am utterly hooked on The Apprentice now! Why is it only on once a week?! I can't wait to move onto Series 4.

My favourite candidate of Series 3 had to be Katie, a snake in the grass she was. Tre was good for entertainment. Kristina was probably my second favourite, she definetly deserved to win. Simon was a cutie!

Katie: Imagine your Jay.. our consumer....

Sir Alan: Jay thinks this idea sucks.,, Jay says your fired

Priceless

As Surallen would say 'Bladdy marvelous TV' - and, in my humble opinion, way better then the original US version - which is down to SAS keeping out of it until the boardroom and the priceless Nick and Margaret

If you can find Series 2 it's worth watching, especially for the ridiculous Syed and the brilliant Badger

Katie was great to hate, the real hiss boo baddy. I was routing for Kristina in that series.

I'm sure Debra is trying to be a Katie in this series, looking to become the baddie and just looking for fame rather than an actual job.

heheh, classic.

As the person above said, the US version pails in comparison, despite being the show ours is based on. Donald Trump lacks Sir Alan's.. charm and it's too big brotherish with a house divide and other silly un-necessaries. As Sir Alan says, the reason his show is more popular than ever and why the US version is loosing viewers, is Sir Alan changes nothing from series to series (minus the theme ), if it aint broke, he don't fix it .

I tried watching the US Apprentice but I could concentrate on anything but Trump's syrup and why does he shout absolutely everything? So wooden too.

The formula didn't work as well across the pond. I managed one series of the American version and wasn't tempted to watch another.

I think it could work if they had someone else other than Trump and made it more realistic, it was way too much like a game show.

Mind you, the person I wanted to win - did, so it wasn't all bad

I still remember the winner being lumbered to finish an entire task (marketing a car) on her own whilst her other team members deserted her and went to sleep! I was on her side from then onwards.
