But The Apprentice originated across the pond. I don't make a point of watching the American version - but I do think Donald Trump (syrup an' all) is more respectful of the candidates than Sir Alan.

Don't ever remember him resorting to profanities to make his point.

Bummer about not being able to access Series 2

It's still the best in my view and the only time my favourite won.

My favourite when it has come down to the final 2 has NEVER won...although I liked Tim. But Saira was a more interesting character..for me she's still the best Apprentice contestant and it's a shame she wasn't in a series that got more viewers.

If you want the best candidates then series 1 and 2 were the best.

If you want entertainment then series 4 & 3 were the best.

Personally series 1 has been the best for me so far. However the foreign trip in series 4, has to be my best ever episode.

I actually prefer the US apprentice. Trump, as not as charismatic as Sugar. However the contestants are generally better, and more bitchy. My ideal series would be Sugar replacing Trump in the US series. That would really be worth watching. The US dont like people taking the mickey out of them, especially us Brits.

Maybe this year will be your year!

Saira, whilst I liked and admired her, wasn't enough of an all-rounder for me.

I've noticed Sir Alan rarely picks the feisty, more forceful candidates - Ruth, Kristina, Saira and Claire all lost out for being too forceful I think.

Alan is looking for an apprentice..someone who can take instructions, take on board constructive criticism, and follow orders. The people you mentioned, couldnt. They thought they knew it all.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't necessarily supporting the ones I mentioned. I was just noting a trend.

Most of my personal favourites haven't even made the final two!

I hear you. If its any comfort, none of my favs have won either.

However the show does need people like them (Saira, Ruth etc), to make it entertaining.

imo Miranda should have won series 1. Not only that I think she is up there with the best candidates of all series.

I disagree. I thought Kristina ticked all the right boxes and should have won - shame she didn't

In all honesty, I often found Kristina to be just as sly and bitchy as Katie.

I still think Saira should have won series one. I really liked Miriam aswell. I remember she was amazing at the Ideal World shopping TV task, and was still eliminated; Paul or even Tim should have went.

I think Simon had the potential to develop outside the programme instead, especially as he had a good degree from a very good university.

A brilliant series though. My favourite episode has to be where they went on TV to sell their products and they lost the channel money LOL ”

Where have you been watching these? Are they all on youtube?
