Can't get BBC on portable TV
I have a 15" Matsui digital TV as well as other digital TVs round the house. For some reason the Matsui will not pick up BBC 1 and 2 - just today and intermittently. The signal bar is showing signal being received but no picture. All other channels are showing fine on it and all the other TVs are showing the channels. Sometimes they are there and sometimes not. Weird!
Any inkling out there as to why? Have checked the manual and nothing in there to explain it. |

Have you tried rescanning?

They have actually changed the frequency of those channels. do you know what the RF output is on your tv?

Thanks all
Will try rescanning but by the time I got back to it after posting it had come back! Cables are fine. Will try and find out the last point and reset it if that is the case. Many thanks for the help. |

On the north Kent coast - as far as east as you can go without falling into the sea! Why?

If you're having problems with reception it's fairly useful to know where you are.

Fair enough. It is working fine again now but was out again for a little while yesterday afternoon. Very strange how it is intermittent like that, or is that something to do with reception and where I live? Why should it only be BBC?
Maybe something else is interfering with the frequency the BBC use, either that or you have fringe reception and there's something atmospheric that makes the signal strength higher every so often. As for why some of your sets get it when this one doesn't... perhaps it's just not as sensitive a reciever as the others |
