New Digital Camera - Opinons please
Hi all
I don't know much about camera's so thought you guys might be able to help me. I've been looking for a new digital camera to replace my current Olympus MJU-400 which I brought about 5 years ago for just over £200. As well as a camera for taking general holiday/everyday pics, I want a camera that will work well in low light conditions (concerts, parties, dance shows etc) and to capture distance shots well. I also want to pick up detailing on smaller objects (ebay listings). I only wanted to spend £200-£250 initially but thought it might be worth spending a bit extra on the Panasonic Lumix TZ7 as it seems to have good features. ![]() Can anyone confirm it will be worth spending the extra on the Panasonic, or could anyone recommend an alternative, preferably cheaper? Thank you |

Thank you Before you spend your money have a look on http://www.steves-digicams.com/hardware_reviews.html American based (prices) but it might help a little re features etc. |

hi
I would also like to point you to the Canon Powershot SX200IS. This is an alternative to the TZ7. Both are good cameras. I would also consider the Canon IXUS IXUS 980IS, but it does not have the zoom of the other too. However the IXUS is a compact size camera. |
