My mother would like us to have Easter brunch, with herself, my brother & partner & toddler, my OH & me.
I'm a bit stuck for ideas. I know something with eggs would be a good idea and I just decided to make a pavlova with some tiny easter eggs as decoration, but what seasonal fruit would be suitable to add.
Any suggestions for this brunch, please ?

I always enjoy kiwi and passion fruit on pavlovas.

My suggestions for brunch recipes using eggs are Kedgeree, Huevos rancheros or eggs Benedict - all very delicious!

ooooh yes, eggs benedict would get my vote, maybe with some nice asparagus on the side?

Also a nice selection of croisants and muffins and tons of orange juice and coffee.

In fact, there's my Easter brunch sorted

Eggs Benedict, perfect ! I can use the the egg yolks, left from the pavlova to make the holandaise sauce.
Great idea, the asparagus on the side.

About the pavlova, do you think I could use frozen raspberries if I can't find fresh ones. Chocolate (mini easter eggs) and raspberries go wel together, right ?

you could hard boil some eggs, then roll them so the shell is cracked, then soak them in some food colouring so when peeled the have a marbled effect (something I remember from school), definately hot cross buns. Just make sure no-ones eaten so much chocolate they don't want proper food!

Frozen raspberries are a great substitute for fresh. I use Waitrose own. Chocolate and raspberries are great combo. I'm doing a chocolate pavlova with cherries - but finding it hard to find any fresh or frozen cherries.

Thanks everyone, who replied. We had a fun day, yesterday.
I went with the Eggs Benedict. Made the muffins myself, used smoked salmon instead of ham and I poached eggs for the first time ever , can you believe that ?! And we served them with asparagus.
I made various buns : some brioche style easter bunnies, with either sultanas or chocolate chips and wholegrain rolls with homemade jams.
After a nice walk we polished off the Pavlova. Yumm !
