ITV HD lost on footie today during Reading/Liverpool game

- DO NOT do a factory reset as it seems to be affecting all boxes this time.............unless it's bug*ered them all!??

I've already tried a Factory Reset before reading this but it made no difference, just get a black screen.

Me too but it took longer than I thought and subsequently missed the Reading goal.
Bunch of amateurs.

Back on again, without the red button invite, but press the red button and lip-sync a mile out even on the adverts, well at least 5 seconds, and no HD weird!

It could be that the HDR DOES need a factory reset

........... I posted the advice yesterday not to do a reset on the assumption that the glitch had affected all boxes not just the HDR ......(I had done a factory reset myself and still had no picture so I assumed it made no difference............)

PS My HDR is fine on ITV HD Man U /Leeds today

Thanks all. I had the same problem with the HD for the Reading/Liverpool game and just a black screen in the Man U/Leeds game. A factory reset later and the footy is working again.

I've got a HUMAX HD and HDR box - ManU vs Leeds ITV HD working fine on the HD box but the HDR had sound but no picture. HDR box required a factory reset to get it working.

Yes, mine too. Everything worked fine today for the whole match. No reset needed.

Was there a problem for everyone?

I had the Liverpool game on in HD, from what time I don't recall, but had no issues. Caught the end of the Man U game earlier and no problems. Watched all the West Ham game and no problems.

Just to contribute my 2p's worth: I was switching back-and-forth from SD to HD (it being my first real opportunity to do an A-B to see the difference). Some time after the Leeds goal (hurray!) the red button didn't give me any picture, although I got the blue 'return to SD' message. This went on for some time, i.e., no HD picture.

Eventually, I turned everything off (no reset) and came back later and HD was OK: I assumed it was ITV's error?

Hi johnny blue,My foxsat uses central west (itv) and it was on for 20 minutes before no picture or sound,Switched to tuner on tv and there was a picture(freeview) then went back to foxsat+ and still no picture several times then stoppped recording,Wiped off program off hard drive then put the match back on and was showing on SD on itv and then tried to get itvhd via red button which never worked. What region are you?

The region should not make any difference. ITV 1 HD is a data stream from Eurobird 1. Pressing the red button connects everybody to the same data.
