Ben came up with a simple product that may well have been successful.

It was Maj who had all the wires and whatnot coming out of it and was basically responsible for the product looking like a pile of poo.

Ben seemed equally keen on the bells and whistles, and was very happy with the final product. It was James and Kate who wanted to keep it simple, but as they weren't there it didn't happen.

I reckon the candidates forget half of what happened by the time they get to the boardroom.

Why didn't James or Kate say that they said for it to be simple? Ben wouldn't have got off so easily if they did. In saying that they didn't even have the balls to tell Ben that when they first saw the design, nevermind telling SAS.
